Horrible horrible - no guarantee you will get to your planned destination and royal carribbean can take you any where and y0u won't get your money back!! We ended up in new jersey for $5k think before you go - royal carribean will blame you if you decide to go during hurricane season and the route gets changed. lack of honesty on conditions to passengers and route destinations, very unsafe ...
I am sure that several of the passengers on this cruise have written a review due to the terrible weather we suffered through, but I felt that I also had additional incidents that needed to be shared as well.
This was my first time on Royal Caribbean. I have only traveled on Carnival and have enjoyed it very much! I was told that Royal was a better company but I did not find that on my ...
This was the worst holiday we have ever experienced.
The advertised cruise was for Bermuda however due to Hurricane Matthew it ended up cruising to New York. Obviously safety is the main priority and the bad weather is beyond the control of Royal Caribbean, however we felt that we were not kept informed of what was happening. We contacted Royal Caribbean prior to the cruise as we were aware of ...
We opted for this ship, cause the reviews where mostly mixed, half good and half not so good, but it felt like the not happy people where over expecting. I don't believe that anymore.
The ship opted to not go to Bermuda before it even left port, it informed the travel agents, but not any of the guests. If you didn't use a travel agent, you where not told till 10pm that you where going to an ...
Recently took a 9 night Canada and New England Cruise out of Baltimore on Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas. This was the September 1 to the 10, 2016 and included ports in Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor, St John and Halifax. I originally wrote to Royal Caribbean about this experience as it had to be one of the worst trips I have ever taken.
Let me start with a couple of good points. ...
Living in Maryland, we have counted our blessings to have the Pride in our home port, and have always loved this ship and the friendly crew. We even appreciate the decor. Most of all, we enjoy the convenience of sailing from our home port of Baltimore- and have been on the Pride 8 times. We work hard and have been fortunate to make many memories with HAL, Celebrity, RCCL, Norwegian; ...
Appeared to be a good deal...but never again on this ship.
The service was sloppy in the dining room and the quality of the food was often poor. Several nights we ordered food we didn't get; we would order coffee with dessert but it never arrived.
Some nights there was no "main" entertainment with only games that a few could play on the theater stage.
The pool areas were unsupervised ...
This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean, and have only sailed with one other cruise line in the past. I have heard wonderful things about this cruise line and choose this particular cruise because of it's proximity to home and the reputation that Royal Caribbean has for teen entertainment - it certainly wasn't because of the bargain price.
Embarkation:
This was an absolute breeze. ...
First of all I was told by a few different people on the royal caribbean central number that if you were in a suite, all water was complimentary, well I was miss informed. Second. My husband and I wanted a ship with poker on it. I called and spoke with the casino of Royal Carribbean and was told they do have a regular texas holdem table on board. Well the only texas holdem table is played on a ...
I chose this cruise because it is a 50 minute drive from home - easy to get in and out. This was my 4th cruise on Carnival Pride out of Baltimore. This was a mom and daughter get-away. I was totally disappointed and irritated with this cruise. Let me first say that I have been on 20+ cruises of all types, and have always enjoyed the Pride, and was looking so forward to the "refurbished" ship. ...
