Nightmare From Bad to Worse

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Sun

My family and I chose this cruise for the fantastic itinerary, lots of great islands that we already love and few we have not been to yet. We love the Caribbean and always have enjoyed going to St. Maarten and St. Thomas and beautiful St. John's, Antigua. We had never been to St. Kitts/Nevis nor the Tortola, British Virgin Islands. The excursions the ship had to offer looked great and we were ...

We sailed from Baltimore Maryland on this beautiful cruise ship on 12/09/2023, our cruise started at 17:00 PM, we were served lunch and yet, on deck #11 they had a DJ playing music, while we were in Chesapeake Bay. Our cabin was nice and clean, our Stuard did a Great job every day. Concerts and shows every day and evening. Every staff member is very friendly and Respectful. Keep up a Great Work ...

Mediocre

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Sun

Chose this cruise due to its departure port of Baltimore so no flying involved and decent price. Stateroom was fine, a bit dated. Linens need to be replaced as our comforter cover was ripped at the top edge. Towels a bit sandpapery. We ate most meals in the dining rooms. Eggs never quite done, fried potatoes cold and tasteless, beef and chicken extremely tough (including steak in specialty ...

Both our cabin and our companions’ had wet carpets outside the bathroom The staff brought in large commercial fans to dry it and some work was done to supposedly clear a pipe under the bathroom floor. While our carpet eventually dried and stayed dry, our companions were not so lucky. The smell had become almost unbearable and they were concerned that there is mold and mildew in the carpet. The ...

We booked this cruise and had to postpone it many times due to covid. My first poor experience was calling to get my deposit refunded and I was told I couldn’t because “the cruise will definitely set sail”. It did not, but, I had already moved the date as I was told to do. Lunch- great food stations… but you have to stand in line for 30-60 minutes depending on what you pick. Dinner- small ...

Way to start the Christmas Season

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Vision of the Seas

This cruise was right after Thanksgiving, so they slowly were putting up Christmas decorations as the cruise went on. A little chillier but to be expected. Had great weather. Cabin was very nice. Food in mdr we gave a 8/10 and Windjammer 7/10 as we felt not quite the selection of the past. Very good but wanted a better variety. Crew was awesome and friendly. Lots to do as far as activities. Love ...

We got a good price of $399.00 per person. I woke up with projectile vomiting the first night after the prime rib. There are no bargains insofar as shopping is concerned; rudest witch ever in FACETS, the jewelry store. I guess she gave a "good interview" to get hired. I will give thanks to Jaime in guest services for finding gingerale for me. Thanks to Marko for helping me as well. Thanks to ...

There's casual, and then there's whatever this trip was. I won't be sailing Royal again.

The best way I can describe it is thinking you were going out for dinner and drinks at an upscale restaurant, and then winding up at applebees. My other frustration was skipping Bermuda because of the hurricane. Obviously weather cannot be controlled and safety always comes first. However, we were supposed to have an overnight stay at a beautiful island....and instead they stopped at port ...

Just Say Nooooo

I’m currently on the Vision. To say the LEAST I’m disappointed and underwhelmed. The food has been disgusting and I can’t get iced tea after 10 pm or before 11:30 am. This is not my first time cruising on RC, I was on the Grandeur of the Sea before. My experiences comparatively have been night and day. The only thing that gets an A+ is our waiter in the main dining room (food also sukd). He was ...
