First of all people are very friendly. Ship is in need of refurbishment badly. Mold in bathroom, furniture dirty, drawers banged up and lots of rust throughout ship. Entertainment was great. Food was sub Par breakfast in dining room took 1 1/2 hours. Food was delivered cold and orders messed up. Tried 3 times in 8 days same thing. Had to go to windjammer to only get lukewarm food. We made the best ...

We like to leave out of Baltimore, our kids drop us off so we avoid flying and all those hassles. We went on Grandeur of the Seas, which was very good and Enchantment is even better. We are in our 60's and so looking for a quiet experience with all the other 'grey hairs'. I saw maybe 3 or 4 kids and they must have been bored. It was a wonderful trip for what we were looking for, and the ...

I was on the Sept 8 sailing. Ship needs update with 1 specialty restaurant. It seemed like 75% of the passengers were seniors. I have never seen so many walkers, wheel chairs, and canes; as well as really sick and frail. I saw 2 babies and a couple of teenagers. The entertainment reflected that, with boring piano music, 50s dance party, etc. The vibe was Nursing Home. I was glad I did not ...

Just return from our cruise. We had a good time. The crew was perfect, such great service. However the cabin needs lots of love. Pros - Service - Food - Accessibility Cons - Cabin - Entertainment SHIP The size of the ship is perfect. You get around easily. The common rooms are very beautiful. You never feel crowded. However, it is due for a renewal especially the ...

My review is based on cruising with a mobility limited parent, and hopefully the information will be helpful to someone else. Overall, compared to the level of service we've enjoyed on Carnival, Norwegian and Princess, I was surprised with the lack of service on Royal Caribbean. I thought RCI was supposed to be a notch above the other lines I've sailed. Embarkation was in Baltimore. Flew ...

Left for our cruise from Baltimore. Our first full day at sea we encountered some rough waters from the hurricane, Rafael, very rocky, and alot of people were sick, It looked like a boatful of drunk people noone could walk a straight line, Saturday, we arrived in Portland, ME. Weather wasn't good, our excursion was a tour of the city, then a schooner ride, the owner of the boat said there wasn't ...

We enjoyed our time on the Enchantment of the Seas. We found the ship to be in pretty good shape. It will soon go into dry dock and some of the drapery and carpets will be replaced. Our cabin was an outside stateroom and there was plenty of storage space for the two of us. The bathroom shower was very small but the water pressure and temperature were perfect. Our bed springs were squeaky with ...

We are a couple in our early sixties. This was our 15th cruise and our 3rd on Royal Caribbean. We flew into Baltimore the morning of the cruise and caught a taxi to the port. The taxi was $37.00. We were on the ship in about 30 minuues and our luggage was there when we finished lunch. We were in stateroom 2508 which was right at the front of the ship. The room had plenty of storage space and ...

1st, we live in MD so getting to/from the Port in Baltimore was very convenient for us. We heard there are hotels in the area you can stay the night before and leave your car there at no charge, and the hotel provides free shuttle to/from the Port -- if this helps you. 2nd, we are not foodies, but we took home several food memories: the ship food was very good -- as always, some better than ...

Just a background on our cruising: We have been cruising with HAL for the past five years. But have been looking for lines going out of the northeast. Our daughter and SIL gave us this trip and we accompanied them to New England and Canada. We have been in inside and veranda cabins, always went to Caribbean, departed out of NY and Port Everglades, ages 63 & 69, husband has slight mobility ...
