The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

This is our second cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas in nine months. I can honestly say that this cruise was not as nice as the cruise we took May 2012. We live about a hour from Baltimore so it is very easy for us to get to the port. Once we got to the port it was very easy. We got there just in time no lines or hassles. Waited about 45 minutes and then we were able to board. First items ...

We booked this cruise because it was a bus trip from Pittsburgh to Baltimore and we liked the idea of "no flying" involved. The bus trip was great and we arrived at the port with no problem. Once inside the terminal I told the RCCL rep that we were Diamond members and he directed me to a line. While standing there for a few minutes we found out that we were in the wrong line. Another rep directed ...

Overall, my husband and I had a very enjoyable time aboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas during our nine-night cruise to the eastern Caribbean out of Baltimore, MD. For reference, I'm twenty eight and my husband is thirty. We traveled alone. The majority of cruisers seemed to be older people, though there were an unusual number of families on this cruise because of winter break in the ...

To escape the winter we often take a cruise in the Eastern Caribbean, but this time we wanted to avoid flying to the cruise port. We drove for 6 hours to Baltimore and stayed overnight in a hotel that included parking for the duration of the cruise and a shuttle to and from the port of Baltimore. Unfortunately the hotel assigned us a very early 8 am shuttle to the port, where we had to wait for ...

We work to plan family vacations that are interesting for my husband and myself (50+ year olds) and also fun for our children (who are in their 30s) and their children (2-one year olds, 1-three year year old, and 2-five year olds). This year we selected Enchantment of the Seas, out of Baltimore, mostly because we thought a cruise would be easy for the younger children and only 3 of our party would ...

We left out of Baltimore on the 12 night Eastern Caribbean on the Enchantment. Embarking was a breeze. We got to the port about 11:30 am. We had sailed on Royal Caribbean before so we went to the Gold Memeber line and were walking up the gangway after a 15 minute wait. Had some lunch in the Windjammer and went to our oceanview room on deck 2 around 1pm and our luggage was there. This cruise ...

Cruised on the Enchantment on 1/5. This was our 2nd time on the Enchantment (and probably the last since the ship is being replaced by the Grandeur). Day One - Left home in NJ around 10:30 and arrived at the port around noon and the line to get in the terminal was very long. Apparently, there was an outbreak of Noro on the previous cruise and they were disinfecting the ship. Since we had a ...

Just got back from a 9 night cruise and thought I would comment on the changes to the Enchantment.:- The new Centrum bar is lovely. The bar staff have "special" uniforms to distinguish them from the rest of the bartenders and they sell an up-market set of drinks there - so many house choices and mixed drinks are not available and of course the choices are more expensive! They had a professional ...

Went on a cruise with Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas. Dining was good, waiter and assistant waiter were awesome. Stateroom attendant was also great BUT... 1. Took 3 days to get hairdryer that was supposed to be in room upon arrival but was not. Went to Guests services, they told me to ask stateroom attendant. Called they told me to call guests services. After 3 days finally got ...
