1-10 of 19 Carnival Legend Cruise Reviews for Family Cruises to the Bahamas from Baltimore
Upfront, Carnival lost us as customers and will explain why when discussing debarkation.
We chose Baltimore as it’s a convenient 50 min drive for us. We lived in FL for many years and all our previous cruises where out of FL ports. This was our first cruise since COVID, so we were curious on what changes we would see. One immediate change is the HUB app. This is an awesome addition and ...
We took this trip with another couple out of Baltimore. All of us are in our 70's with a few health issues. Parking was easy. We chose our balcony room 4173 (Deck 4) with location in mind close to elevators on either end and central in the boat without any obstruction to our balcony. We were 2 floors above the Promenade Deck (Deck 2). We didn't know that the Promenade Deck (Deck 2) is open from ...
This was my 15th cruise on a carnival ship.
Although it is an older ship it still had all things that make Carnival the Fun Ship.
The staff was amazing as usual, going out of their way to make you comfortable. My Room Steward was Josimo and he took care of us well.
Yes the decor was not as jazzy but this is an older ship. It was very clean
Yes you see the same staff serving dinner in ...
We took this cruise out of Baltimore b/c we live in Delaware. It was a 1 hour drive and we were picked up and dropped off very easily. It's super easy to find the cruise terminal so that's a plus. Embarkation was a breeze, probably the best I've ever been on, and I have cruised a lot. The ships layout was pretty easy to follow. I will say as others have mentioned, some of the décor is a little ...
We had a large group of 30 people taking part in this holiday cruise. First time sailing out of Baltimore, we found the cruise port/terminal to be very well run, organized and clean. The Embarkation process was seamless and took no more than 20 mins including security.
Once on board, our rooms were ready right away, we were able to set down our carry on luggage and make our way to the lunch ...
We chose this cruise because we have cruised 6 times with Carnival and have always had a wonderful time. They called to offer us some special deals on upcoming cruises and we said “Why not do something different for Thanksgiving this year?” and we went for it.
We always cruise out of Baltimore or NYC because we live in CT and we prefer to drive as opposed to flying. No cruises out of NYC this ...
This was a Thanksgiving cruise and we had a balcony on the 6th floor. I have been on the Pride and Legend at least 2 or 3 times before this cruise. Maybe part of why I was so disappointed was because of all the things they took away. One thing I always took advantage of was a free in room limited -menu breakfast. We like to stay up late and sleep late when cruising and having your coffee and a ...
we choose the Legnd because we live in Delaware and the drive was easy...and it was. Had a 1:30 boarding time and had priority boarding as we were booked in a suite. Drove up at 12:00 and waited on line ....by 1:20 we left our car to board and we were on the ship by 2:00. Got a burger at guys and it was dry and not impressive. Decks began getting crowded as we explored the ship. Was on the ...
Carnival is trying to save money by using less staff and other techniques. No one item is major in itself. When all negative items are combined, it makes for a poor vacation experience.
1. All hot tubs were lukewarm and no bubble aeration
2. Some entrees in MDR were so small (like grilled shrimp), you need to double order. Side dishes were teaspoon sized vegetables. No cocktail person ...
Embarkation was fairly smooth considering a coast guard inspection delaying things for a couple hours. Even with the delay we had a drink in our hands by 2:00. Stateroom is the typical balcony stateroom, nothing new and exciting, 5 or 6 channels on the TV. Nick, Toon, Discovery, Nat Geo and Food I believe. 2 channels of continuous bad movies. Only channels available in the sports bar are ESPN ...
