After I booked this b2b from Copenhagen to Reykjavik, I had some misgivings due to some comments on this website; therefore, I had to review after my own experience.
The cruise line – Oceania exceeded my expectations in just about every way. I was last on Oceania over ten years ago; I thought they were good then but I believe they have improved considerably.
This is as close to old-style ...
This was our first post-Covid holiday abroad and, after seeing chaos at airports over the last couple of years, we were delighted to find that we could sail from Rosyth, just over an hour's drive from home. The itinerary took us up the coast of Norway before heading well into the Arctic Circle, to Svalbard.
This was only our second cruise and our first with Fred Olsen but we had heard good ...
We only booked this cruise six weeks before sailing. This was our second cruise with Fred and it won’t be our last. Sailing from Rosyth was very easy, check in was quick, parking at the Dock makes it simple. Disembarking was just as easy.
We chose an Inside Cabin for the simple reason that going to the Midnight Sun was going to be 24 hours of daylight and we both like darkness to sleep in. Our ...
Originally booked in 2021. Rebooked due to Covid. The weather was perfect. No rain for entire voyage. The local Tour Guides were all excellent. Very knowledgable and articulate. Smooth sailing throughout.
Service on the ship was excellent and up to Viking standards. This was our first Ocean Cruise with Viking. We were concerned with the size of the ship since our previous cruises were long ...
Heard good things about Viking Ocean cruise. Had a great experience on Viking River cruise. That is why we chose to experience the Viking Ocean cruise.
The ship is in a great shape. Love the food on board and the professional staff.
The whole operation is well managed. The cabin was in great shape and the staff kept it clean and organized every day. The Viking Daily is a very helpful ...
I had been to Iceland before and wanted my husband to experience it. We picked Viking because of our outstanding experience with a Rhine River cruise. Here are the main points supporting my rating.
--There are activities for all fitness levels. My husband has limited mobility, but there were enough activities onboard and ashore to keep him occupied.
--I love taking pictures. The guided ...

We have cruised many times before - but this was a step up for us in terms of quality ( and price ) but the all inclusive fare was brilliant . Compared to other cruise experiences I think what you are paying for is space - both in the suite which was a really good size ( and the first time we had more storage than we needed for clothes ) , but also in the public areas where we never had to wait ...
I was unsure about taking an ocean cruise after enjoying several river cruises but was not disappointed. The number of passengers never felt crowded. The stewards that cleaned our rooms were thorough and always close by to help or answer any questions. They were friendly and delightful!
The excursion to Vigor Island and the excursion to Sky Lagoon were our favorites. Enjoying the warm ...
This cruise was chosen first because it was a Viking cruise. Our past Viking river cruises were so very positive and enjoyable we wanted to try one of the larger ships. There was no disappointment. We really enjoy the staff throughout the ship. Everyone seemed to be focused on the guest. The ports were very nice and gave us the opportunity to engage the local people and share just a little of ...
