Myself and friends chose Regent cruise because we were past Radisson-Regent passengers. always wanted to go to Baltic but now no St.Petersburg (not Regents fault). However right before cruise Regent cancelled Gdansk, which was a highlight. We were never told why but other cruise lines went.
First major caveat - the wi-fi was a big problem with with the premium package - numerous cut ...
Cruise was wonderful, a relatively small ship so went right into port all days apart from one. We stopped at 7;different ports which was fantastic.
We liked the ship, staff were great, entertainment very good, food very good too.
Our only negative comments would be that there were no water points where you could fill up water bottles. You could order small bottles to your room but it was ...
I had a solo full suite S6, aft-facing. A decent enough cabin, in need of some cleaning. Like all Princess ships, overall service quality has fallen over the years. I've sailed some others (Majestic and Enchanted) that seem to have recovered post-COVID; this one has not. Overall service is uneven, some crew really care, while others are excited about how soon their contract ends. It's not ...
Chose cruise for itinerary ( it does not stop in Russia) and after cruise scheduling- so far service excellent, cabin horrible constant noise ( they moved us last night to port side), quite a bit of Horizon Court food very chewy Mexican, pork; fruit very fresh, good variety but question quality- does not seem to be quality level of Discovery, Regal, or Enchanted ships;casino is very small, ...
This was a Baltic cruise to countries we’d always wanted to visit—Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and Denmark. The ports were all wonderful, and we enjoyed meeting the people in these countries and experiencing their culture. This relatively small ship, on which we’d sailed before, was perfect for making these stops without the hassle of long on and off waits.
We thought the food and ...
We booked this as a "drop and go" back to backs more for the destinations than the ship. Some places in Norway we had been to before. We were very limited in cabins available and were in an ocean view cabin. It was acceptable once we got the room properly cleaned, aired and supplied. The window needed a good clean and it was more like being in an inside cabin as window was so filthy with scum ...
This was our 4th trip on Azamara, all of which have been on Journey so boarding feels very familiar. We embarked in Amsterdam which was extremely well organised and we were surprised t be recognised by the Hotel Director from our previous cruise. That feels good and coincidentally was useful as we had had a lot of pre-cruise problems which we had been unable to resolve . This included booking us ...
Timing and a great itinerary leaving from Southampton made me choose The Island Princess. I came on it solo and am a ballroom dancer and was hoping to meet other like-minded people. Sadly I have to say I have been very very disappointed and what could have been a great cruise has come out, in my opinion, below all the other four cruise lines, Cunard, Fred Olsen, MSC and P&O, I have travelled ...
t I travel with my partner Janet. We chose this cruise for the itinerary. 33 days with ports in Iceland and Norway. The Island Princess seemed to be the perfect way to visit the northern ports and June the perfect season to do so. This is not the review I had hoped to write when we made the reservations. The disappointment was not with the itinerary, but the ship. No, not even the ship, but ...
I have been to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland and loved each of them so I wanted to finally see Iceland. It’s an amazing and stunningly beautiful destination. It’s safe, immaculately clean, and has a rich and interesting history, as well as a friendly and congenial population.
Viking did a terrific job - everything was well-organized, the excursions were great, the guides were personable ...
