NCL Haven Suite

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We chose this cruise based on the ports visited. We have cruised many times before but this was our first NCL experience. We opted for a suite within the Haven which was the best decision we made. The suite was comfortable and spacious, our butler Bernie was always reachable but not in your face. We enjoyed the perks such as being escorted on and off the ship, also priority seating and ...

Can't say enough good things about this cruise. It started with an easy embarkation. The lines moved swiftly through security. Dropped my bags off in my cabin and headed for lunch. The buffet was good overall. We did have a few occasions when finding a table was difficult. The food and service were very good. Selection was vast as always with a great omelet station. Food in the MDR was ...

A Superb experience

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

Booked a 4 night cruise to Hamburg and back from Southampton with the thought if we enjoyed the experience we would then consider a transatlantic next year. Firstly the ship is absolutely stunning, the art deco design combined with modern touches was more than I had hoped for. The lounges were all spacious, never had a problem finding a seat and the waiting staff in all areas were ...

Return to a Heritage Homeland

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on MSC Preziosa

This was a cruise that we have looked forward to for over a year. We had booked two connecting Fantastica Experience staterooms with included WiFi and the Easy Plus package. DSIL was coming along for her first trip to Europe so that made it special. We flew into Hamburg via Copenhagen with an open-jaw for our return flight so that we could include a visit to Copenhagen. We chose the Hotel Furst ...

Crystal Serenity Solo Experience was excellent.

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Crystal Serenity

I just had the time of my life on this cruise. I am a 60-something widow and this is my first cruise sailing solo since my husband passed. He and I had sailed Crystal six times, on all three ships, and loved it. I chose this cruise because I was happy to see Crystal come back, Iceland is on the bucket list, and, well, it was time to get back out there traveling. I flew to Reykjavik two days ...

The "New" Crystal Serenity Makes a Grand Entrance With a trans-Atlantic crossing to the New World

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Crystal Serenity

The “New” Crystal Serenity comes to the New World in a trans-Atlantic crossing that began in Britain and ended in Quebec. Are you a past Crystal guest who wants to know: What’s different? What’s new? What’s better, what’s worse? If you don’t feel like reading a long report, then you can settle for a one-sentence summary: WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS THE “NEW” CRYSTAL SERENITY IS AS ...

I wanted to do another UK cruise go to places like Shetland and Newcastle as I’m a fan of the TV shows and also Liverpool as I had not been there. I’m just about through with long haul flights so I tried to book on the Iceland/Greenland tour but at the time (Feb), I was told all the solo cabins had been sold. I waited about 5 weeks and cabins became available again and I was able to book that tour ...

Disney Does IT oh so right

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Disney Dream

Second recent cruise on Disney cruise line after the pandemic. We are Diamond Plus members with RCCL (for perspective). Although RCCL ships are beautiful and entertainment is top notch the service and especially the Food has gone down the tube. Only the Specialty Dining is good. Disney however is the total package! Beautiful ships, amazing entertainment, spectacular service, great tasting food ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Preziosa

After many negative reviews I was so surprised, that MSC has devinitly levelled up! The Organisation of the cruise and the excursions was perfectly made, all passengers received a compensation of 50 euro after landing late in one of the harbours. The Opera Singers and the short version of "La Traviata" was excellent! I had expected high level parties, but received a wunderful journey with a lot of ...

Having sailed with others, we are restricted due to the school holidays; where my partner works and it can limit our choice and availability. We flew to Copenhagen and enjoyed an amazing city before cruising. Everything from getting on the ship at Copenhagen to leaving it at Stockholm; was fantastically executed. Food and choices along with entertainment was the best I've experienced to ...
