To judge by the number of B2B travellers from the previous cruise, many of the Azamara family had been eagerly awaiting this first journey to Sydney round the West Australian coast. Azamara Journey goes above and beyond most cruise ships. The staff are so friendly - We love all the question and answer periods with all the officers from the captain down. Long time Princess cruiser...first time on Azamara. The size of the ship (as with sister ships Princess has owned) is great...intimate and able to get into small (read interesting) ports. Food okay...liquor, soda, espresso drinks, and tips included...that's nice, but raises the fare for all. TV movies and shows VERY limited...repeated endlessly.

This was our 7th cruise with Azamara, and by far the most disappointing.
The ship is tired and well overdue the overall planned refurb within the next few months, but that was what we expected.
