Previous customer-and 5th cruiser with Carnival. This was by far the worst cruise we have ever taken. The many changes Carnival has made really makes a BIiG negative difference. Listed below:
Food - less than mediocre in the dinning room. Meat is tuff. Portions are much smaller (not that it made a difference in the taste.
Options are not child friendly.
Stick with the outside offerings ...
After many years since my last cruise, my new husband and I decided it was time for him to experience his first cruise.
We chose the Conquest because the itinerary fit our schedule. We also chose the conquest for it's size, and the deal we got on this sailing.
We were booked for an Ocean Suite, but the upgrade fairy put us in a Grand Suite. We took advantage of the perks that come with a ...
Sooo I really wanted to go on an RCL cruise, but my mother picked Carnival for our mini Mother/Daughter getaway. Both had an identical itinerary option for a short weekend trip to Nassau but Carnival was a lot cheaper. I really wish we would have shelled out the extra $100 per person for RCL. (Our suite on Carnival was $100 less than a standard balcony would have been on RCL)

My family choose this cruise line because it was for 12 days and the 7 ports of calls appealed to us. This was our 7th cruise so we were pretty familiar with how the cruise lines operated in general.
The first issue I noticed was the odour in our stateroom the minute we were able to enter. I didn’t think much of it because I have a highly sensitive sense of smell. The odour carried into most ...
We were a couple with a young kid (18 months) and traveled with BIL’s family. We chose this cruise because we wanted our toddler to have access to some pools (there’s a small baby splash zone onboard that allows swim diapers) and BIL’s family wanted some of the fun amenities on royal ships.
Day 1
Embarkation was smooth. We happened to arrive earlier than our set time but they took us anyway ...
Three-day cruise on MSC Divina (Thursday, 01/13/2023 – Monday, 01/16/2023).
My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Right before boarding the ship we had a great customer service experience with a woman named Sofia (an MSC staff member who worked behind the embarkation counter in Terminal E). Sofia was very nice, courteous, and very helpful.
On the second day, my wife and ...
This was my 19th cruise and this was by far the worst cruise I’ve been on.
Starting when we got on and our stateroom was disgusting. The walls had marks all over them, the towels looked used. Asked guest services to have someone come, no one did for 4 hours. Then I asked again, and again. And it finally got done.
The bars- every bar was understaffed and the staff they had was honestly ...
Had a fun weekend cruise, our first with MSC. Ship was full. Considering the price, it was def worth it, despite the long list of ’con’s below.
pros:
- Easy, quick embarkation and disembarkation
- The kids club was the best we’ve seen (out of several cruise lines). Really fun activities for the kiddos.
- Main dining room food was excellent and tasty.
- Ocean Cay was great.
- We ...
My wife and I chose this trip for my first ever cruise - a four-night cruise to Grand Bahama and back - with family and friends. It's one of the smaller ships, so I had lower expectations (after reading so much about the giant ships). We left for Tampa on January 11th, when national airports shut down in the morning - an inauspicious start. Worse yet, the weather turned - down into the 50's - ...
This was very first cruise that wasn't just a casino or day cruise. My cruise mate was a platinum cruiser who was more than willing to show me ropes.
Day one, embarkation.
Getting through the mayhem of the drug dogs was a breeze and boarding went as easy as you could imagine. We scheduled our embarkation time for 10:30am and was on the boat no later than 11:15.
The boat was clean ...
