Cheap and very good cruise, the buffet is very varied and in general cleanliness I give a 10. good attention to the customers. Comfortable beds and quite fun. recommended. I want to go back next year. My wife and I were an ocenview room. the theater show was phenomenal, tremendous dancers. Live music for all tastes willing to please you. I really want to go back next year. I took the excursion to Grand Lucaya. its a Beautiful place. Exceptional The saxophone show in the encore salon. the Game for couples stole laughter from everyone present. If you love to play, the casino is very well suited. Yellow Elder restaurant has excellent entrees included in the price and likewise additional dishes at a moderate price. the cleanliness is spectacular. the staff is concerned about constantly keeping everything clean and very organized. The area for jogging is excellent. I recommend this cruise 100%! ! ! Read Less

I want to saw, my hats is off to the employees at Grand Celebration Cruise Ship. Everyone was super nice and very helpful. The food was excellent and their was plenty of it, must have gained 10lbs or more. I have been on other cruises but this one was the best by far. Our room was fresh and clean, their were plenty of activities that kept us busy, one big party. If anyone is planning a cruse the Grand Celebration won't disappoint. Thanks again for the great memories. The price was affordable and we booked the Bahamas stay for 5 days and 2 day Cruise through Royal Seas Cruise Line. Everything was included from 3 nights in Orlando and 5 days in Bahamas and then 3 night in Ft Lauderdale. What a wonderful time we had, well worth the money spent. Again if your looking for a cruise you simply cannot afford to pass up the Grand Celebration Cruise Line. This cruse is for everyone who wants to have a good time. Read Less

I did a lot of research before I purchased this cruise. I got a 'deal' through groupon, $269 for two people. When I called to book the cruise, I had to pay $65 per person for port fees. We arrived at 130pm, only way to park your car is valet, $18/ night, and only cash. There were about 300 people as we entered, no clear direction as to what was going on, we had to fill out paperwork for our on board credit account. We waiting about 2 hours in a line to get the room keys, and our info inputted ( which I had already done when I booked the cruise) . After this process we headed on board. The cruise ship is an old Carnival ship, VERY clean and polite staff ( this was the highlight) . They had a variety of entertainment that was suitable, nothing over the top. An adult comedy show was $12/ person, and wasn't that great. Check your weather as we had terrible motion sickness. We chose to venture out on our own once we arrived in Freeport. They loaded up 10 people per taxi for a 15 minute ride ( $10 round trip / person ) here you got to see the hurricane damage and a 'shopping center' with each store selling the same expensive stuff. $20 for a DORA shirt that said bahamas. AWFUL!! Honestly I would've just purchased souvenirs at the freeport port as you exit the boat and then spent the day on the now quiet boat. The excursions were expensive $100+ and I heard they weren't the best. A lot of people did they 2/4 night stay at a resort in the bahamas and apparently that was awesome. We had two twin beds pushed together to make a makeshift bed, it was awful and didnt lock even after asking housekeeping. Alcohol is very expensive, cheapest bottle is $100 of absolut, and soda you pay $20+ for unlimited . I would recommend getting drinks individually ( they had 50% off drinks during the entertainment, so wait for that) the drink package was $70 and was 10 8oz drinks, not worth it. $12 for a cocktail. Food was okay, set up was great, but certain things didnt taste right. we were sick and left the Stellar restaurant but the food looked amazing , also, there are two restaurants that are an additional charge, The Bull and Admiral club. You need your room key to get towels, and if you dont return them at the given time you are charged $20 per towel, same with room towels, if housekeeping comes by and you have taken a towel you get charged. Overall, we spent over $600 and this is without the excursions, definitely a waste for two mediocre days. DONT get this cruise, rather go to the Keys in a 5 star hotel. Read Less

memorable and enjoyable place to vacation. It looked like a poor third world country. We refused to even get off the cart and had it take us right back to where we came from. We ended up walking down to the Hilton and having a few drinks at the outdoor bar until we were able to go back to the ship. The food provided in the “cafeteria” was embarrassing. All everyone kept telling me was how much I would love the food and the variety of items offered. Every time we went to the buffet the food looked like it was frozen, processed and reheated. We ate each meal at the outdoor grill where we could watch it be prepared or in the Prime restaurant. To add insult to injury when we finally made it back and were ready to de-board the next day we were told that we had to go back to the service desk as there was a “hold on our release”. I got upstairs to the service desk and was advised that my card was declined for $86 worth of incurred charges, that even included FUEL for the boat… I can’t even begin to understand how you would have the audacity to charge each passenger for fueling the boat but nonetheless I called my card company and was advised that there was a fraud protection hold that was on my card for a suspicious charge. Come to find out it was the drinks at the Hilton bar in Bimini but because it was in another country they took security measures. I advised the charge was authorized and was told the hold would be released in 24 hours. I relayed this to your customer service representative who then stated that I would be held on the boat until the balance was paid. After I explained to him that that was unlawful imprisonment, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was first told there was not one available and when I insisted I was asked to wait. In my HOUR LONG wait for a supervisor I overheard dozens of passengers who had issues with credit card authorizations, one young lady had actually been asked to come the night before because they could not read the imprint on her card, she supplied it again on a new authorization form and THEY LOST IT!!!! Needless to say, after listening to complaint after complaint after complaint about charges I never actually saw a supervisor. The same gentleman kept telling me that “she” was on her way and when I started reiterating that I had a flight to catch he understood the importance of them moving expeditiously. However, I never spoke with a supervisor. I was told to wait for another half hour and then asked to sign a promissory note BY THE SAME GENTLEMAN WHO TOLD ME TO WAIT for the remaining balance (which I could have done from the very beginning when I advised they could run the card again in the morning as they had all the necessary information) After an hour and a half of waiting we were released to get off the boat but immediately heard an announcement that the customs area was full and they were asking people not to de-board until they could get caught up. We waited another 30 minutes before we were allowed to proceed off the boat and spent 2 hours in the customs area. Not only did I miss my flight but I missed a second flight home and we were not able to leave Florida until 8pm that evening (from a 10:40am flight). I spent my entire birthday sitting in customs and then sitting in an airport. My fiancée made dinner plans for the family that evening as my flight would have put me home at 2pm and the guest of honor was unable to attend as she was stranded in Florida, though we had family travel from out of state to celebrate with me. I have never been more disgusted with a company in my entire life. The professionalism, the un-organization, the blatant disregard for your passengers time, when offering such a poor experience is mind blowing. Read Less

This was our first criuse. We wanted to check if we get seasick. We are a Family of 5 and although one of our cabins was large enough, we were required to book two cabins. So we booked two cabins in one reservation. They still put two floors between the two rooms. At booking we were promised side by side cabins. The booking however was done with a marketing company that never revealed their real name. One of our rooms was ok, tempwise. Although on the edge of being too warm. The other room was too cool. We complained three times to our steward and once to the customer service desk. Nothing was ever fixed. When we wanted to leave the ship we had to wait 45 minutes, then we wete told to go back to the service desk. I did so and it turned out they didn't understand we had two rooms. So some explaining later we could leave for a two day stay on the Bahamas. It turned out that they had forgotten to give us a Bahamas immigration paper. So we had to get those from a not so funny immigration officer. Good was however, the evening food buffet, the breakfast buffet and the athmosphere on the ship Read Less

Well lets start with this. The best food we had on the ship was at the late buffett. Decent chicken wings and onion rings. The first meal I ordered was only made edible with the bacon and the sauce. Over cooked and extremely small portions. Yes I know cruise ship small portions I understand and wouldnt really think anything of it if it was cooked correctly. So I ordered a steak Medium rare. That too came well done. The second dinner I had was seared tuna salad. Lots of filler maybe a spoon full of seaweed and 4 of the smallest slices of seared tuna I have ever seen. More appropriate as an appitizer. So I tried a steak again. This time opting for Rare. I will give them that there was a sliver of pink but for a rare steak that was a dissapointment. Breakfast was disapointing no matter where you went on the ship. I tried to eat the buffet breakfast and it was ...well buffet breakfast so I got what I asked for there. Then tried the dining room with another buffet but you can order eggs. Ordered eggs benedict. It was sour. Orange juice was very watered down. For lunch I tried the burger and hot dogs on deck and got a well done burger and some cold fries. The hot dog was actually a good size but I have tasted better gas station hot dogs. "Entertainment" I really wont even get started with that. The only entertainment we enjoyed was in the piano bar. I think her name was Tonya she was short and Very funny and unfortunately wasnt on our return voyage. Now My biggest issue on the ship was an A/c issue on the first night. All the rooms were hot and heard many guests complaining after I had to go to customer service because a server in the casino gave me someone elses ship card after I ordered a drink. So I know I wasnt alone on this. Embarkation in Palm beach. Security is tight and no real line just right when you come in the door is the metal detectors. so we checked bags and got onboard easy enough. But we arrived early. Disembarkation in the bahamas. Another big issue We got off at 10 to go to the resort. Rooms wont be ready till 3.... ok so we assume a late checkout no big deal. they send you to a room to leave your luggage on racks with attendants. I didnt experience any issues here but I could see issues not being a big surprise. Luckily our room was ready before 3 our friends wernt so lucky and had a nice little wait as all the other guests checked in at 3... So we are awakened on our last morning at the resort by housekeeping. Checkout is at 10am........ 10am-3pm to clean rooms. I will simply leave the comment of LOL. We scheduled our transportation via direct bus transport on the ship from the resort at 12:30... so another 2 and a half hour wait to go nowhere. so we wander the market and get breakfast at a little restaurant. We go back at 12:15... there is still a line for 12:30 passengers Behind the line for 12:00 passengers that were not picked up... so we grabbed our baggage and jumped in line.... FInally at 1:30 we get on a bus. We arrive at port and manage to make it through scurity and customs with ease. Disembarkation back in Palm beach. The line off the ship was backed up from Customs all the way inside the ship. It took 3 hours to get off the ship. Once we got 1/2 way through the line we find out there is another line for passengers with passports and passport IDs. not only that but Ship officers and crew would pass by everyone in line transporting crew getting off and even refreshments for the new guests about to come aboard. Customs handled us very quickly so I dont think that was the issue. In Summary I met a lot of folks who took this voyage as their first cruise. I would not recomend it as it might turn you off to cruising all together. If you dont mind dealing with sub par cruising as a quick vacation then by all means go ahead but I wont be doing it again.
