We were on Celebrity summit April 1st cruise, we lost power one day, we lost water. One day, we couldn't stop at one of the ports, our internet was bad, and I reached out to them seeing if we could get some sort of compensation or refund and they said no. The Epic is by far the worst ship in the Norwegian line. This cruise it was loaded down with about 4300 passengers. I was totally incapable of accommodating this number of passengers. The lines were endless and everywhere. A number of things did not work. Average wait time for a drink on the pool deck 20 minutes. Finding a chair impossible. This was the absolute worst cruise I have ever experienced. The rooms on the Epic were shabby and smelly. The food options were horrible. The staff members were rude, entertainment options were all substandard. The staff working at the Garden Cafe and horrible parents allowed their children to play in the buffet food. The food is just awful, no other way to describe. Tbe rice in the buffet put a whole new level of Al dente. Buffet is tge worst, hard to believe any chef would put that stuff out. Service was sub-par compared to other cruise lines. Reservations are required for dining room & impossible to get. Waiting in line for meals is the norm. You don't have a set seating time, table, or server.so meals are anonymous. Cabibs were VERY small not well cleaned. This ship isn't meant for any bad weather. You feel EVERY wave and they often miss ports due to the inability to stabilize. Also, there are no adult only hot tubs so you better love sitting with kids packed in and splashing. The shows weren't worth the time. The comedian just complained about his ex wife at both shows.
