We were looking for the perfect 10th Anniversasy Celebration Vacation! We chose this 7 day cruise to the Bahamas and absolutely loved our first cruise experience. The ship itself was beautiful and very easy to get around. The entertainment was great with something for everyone to enjoy. The live music groups, the theater shows, the acrobat couple, and the comedy show were all WONDERFUL. By the end of the cruise, the cruise director Lorena and comedian Tim Kaminski felt like old and dear friends to us! The food was wonderful, with choices of quick casual buffet meals or more formal meals in the dining rooms, all were excellent. We chose to get a week spa pass which was perfect for relaxing. We also enjoyed the shore excursions to Kennedy Space Center, Great Stirrup Cay, and Atlantis Aquadventure pass. The OLNY thing we were not happy with was ship photographer who offered us a “free” photography session at his studio which was a total waste of our time, there were so many better things to be doing! Other passengers we met also mentioned being lured into this “scam” and this is the only thing we would warn against. We would highly recommend this ship and itinerary, and will definitely cruise again with NCL. Read Less

This was my first ever cruise and I get an unbelievable experience! I'm 16 years old boy and I decide to join a teen club (club O2) this club for teens from 15-17 years old, I meat so many new people. club O2 helped all of us not to be scared of each other. Club was opened till 1 am but after when it closed, we went to the food market and we wear talking for 2 or more hours, or we just wondering around the cruise. Some of us made some relations ships (boyfriend/girlfriend). We all were kind to each other. My self, I meat with 2 18n years girls, we get so much fun together. They wasn't allowed to join this club and that sad, but they still made some friends. So Carnival Sunshine if you can please make one more club for teens from 18 to 20 years old. Crue group is super friendly, food is really good. They even have a pizza place that open 24/7. Carnival Sunshine offers all people a great shows, partys, and more fun. If you want to get a WiFI you need to pay almost $100, but trust me it not worst it! Without internet access, people becoming more friendly to each other. Last what I want to say is that it always hard to say goodbye to your vacation, friends, etc. We all become so close to each other, but this is life and we can't change it, but what we can do is when you at a cruise, do not waste your time, take this chance meet new people. don't afraid to come to a person and say "hey, how are you?" On day 3 of the cruise, I saw a beautiful 2 girls and I come to them and I said "Hey, what a beautiful dress" and im actually happy right now that I did it, because we get a good time together and now we texting each other and I hope one day I will see them again) Thank you Ko-Ko (teen club operator) for your games and support! Thank you Carnival Sunshine for this unforgettable experience! And of course, thank you, my friends, specially Ruthie and Erica for this unforgettable time we spend together!! Read Less

First time cruise. 3 kids, 2 adults. We are 40. Kids were busy in kids clubs and out of our hair most of the time. Rock wall and obstacle course were entertaining for adults, while kids were busy in the pool and on slides. Food was excellent, staff was great, shows were great. Decent size cardio room with many treadmills and ellipticals. Only 1 stairclimber, a very awkward pedal model. I hope you will replace it and add a few more standard stairclimbers. Weight room could use improvement. Its very small and crowded. Expand it into the dance studio, your dancers have plenty of other places. Also the A-rack full of preset straight bars needs EZ-grip bars on the other half of it. I worked out 6 out of 7 days on ship, so its important to keep gym rats entertained also :) Only one tragedy happened to me during the vacation, I left my prized possession, a bose headset in the room during disembarkment on last day...working with lost and found, hopping for its safe return. Very positive experience overall, will cruise again with Norwegian for sure. Read Less

What I did like about this cruise is that we got a cheap upgrade to a balcony on the forward of the ship. We arrived at the port at 9am and were surprised to get parked so quickly especially in NYC. The Embarkment went well. The food, the steward, and cleanliness was all good. Food was available 24/7 and not just junk food like pizza. The shows were all good except the Rock of Ages show was not appropriate for a cruise ship, maybe it would be best for a Vegas adult sex show, It was lack of taste for a cruise ship. The gym and equipment was good. Problems on this ship included language barriers and lack of knowledge of the workers. Many adult areas such as adult clubs and adult karaoke had children there which made it not an adult time at all. Little kids on the dance floor dancing while adults are gyrating with adult music is not cute. This decreased any adult time since there was minimal private areas for adults. Private areas came at an extra fee!! Children were running up and down the stairs, through the hallways by staterooms all hours of the night and playing on the dance floor in the restaurant dance area where couple where trying to dance. It seemed like no one was in control or authority to set limits on the cruisers who thought this was acceptable. Disembarkment was a nightmare with no organization so everyone tried to leave the ship at the same time so you could imagine that disaster! We were to leave at 9:20am and got off the ship at 1pm. Not impressed with Norwegian at all. Read Less

We've taken Disney World vacations for each of the last few years but decided on a cruise this year based on a deal we found. The kids, ages 6 & 8, actually said that they prefer Anthem of the Seas over going to Disney...a huge compliment considering that they loved Disney. Pros - - The staff - so friendly & attentive. They made our whole experience. Especially our dining room server - Kanyisa. She was wonderful and will be missed lots. - The activities - I don't like to sit by the pool and read. I want to be doing something all the time and I still didn't get around to half of the things there are to do. Northstar, Flowrider surfing and boogie boarding, iFly, bumper cars, roller skating, basketball, dodgeball, huge jogging track, ping pong, trapeze, family dancing, outdoor movies, indoor 3D movies, huge gym, great arcade. The list goes on and on. Never a lack of really fun things to do. Coco Kay - Just google it. Absolute paradise. We could have stayed here for a week and it wouldn't have been long enough. On that note, I do wish the port stop was more than just a day. - The food - Huge variety of really delicious food. Cons - Port Canaveral - The ship docks pretty far away from anything. I wished we had 2 days at Coco Kay instead of going to this port. Adventure Zone - When I went to pick up my 8 year old they had him watching a puppet show on TV. It was geared toward ages 2 to 4. He refused to go back. Overall the Pros vastly out-weighted the cons. We will definitely be back !!! Read Less

The stateroom attendant was helpful, friendly and he was real creative making animals with the wash rags and towels. The dining servers were wonderful they make sure you're happy the whole time you're eating. You have plenty to do from morning to night. We also love the shore excursions. We enjoyed shopping and eating delicious food and the drinks were delicious as well. The shows were really nice. We enjoyed the belly flop contest. The food on the ship was delicious too. We enjoyed bingo, zuma, dancing, karaoke, swimming, casino and much more. The ship was clean and on excellent condition. The ship also have great price on all sorts of items. The NCL Sky is on the smaller scale of cruise ships but this vessel certainly packs a punch! For a 3-4 day cruise it is perfect in size. You can learn the ship's layout quickly and it is easy to navigate to know where all the amenities such as the spa, bars, restaurants, shows etc are located. No long lines for elevators or long waits at the bars/restaurants which makes for an enjoyable experience. The staff is truly impressive and I am one who is not always easily impressed. I have cruised on NCL, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, & Princess in the USA and overseas and the SKY is the best value! The entire executive staff is visible throughout the journey and makes the rounds on the pool deck and throughout the restaurants to check in on guests and just to chat which is much appreciated and not usual on other ships. The food quality is fantastic whether it be at the Crossings restaurant on the 5th floor or one of the specialty restaurants. Great service by the wait staff and awesome food selections!!! My cabin was always extremely clean and every need was meet, every night came home to a perfect cabin....well done! Special thank you to some people that make the Sky one of the best in the NCL fleet...Ron the Hotel Director and his staff are the best of the best and go the extra nautical mile to ensure your vacation is truly a memorable one....Kudos Ron & TEAM you all should be cloned for the rest of the NCL fleet. Zimba and K were two others who I had the absolutely pleasure of interacting on a daily basis. Two of the ultimate professionals in the industry who will not let ANY little desire or need go unmet! NCL should feel proud to have you both on their team as the qualities you both exemplify are 5 Star service. Thoroughly impressed by the NCL SKY Team! THANK YOU Read Less

We choose this cruise to see what Norwegan had to offer as we sailed from NY and it was difficult to with all of the traffic and arrangements. We really did enjoy the drink package as this was our first time it fit into the budget and that was a plus. The kids stuff ( slides tubes/ rock climbing) had limited hours and we could not use it .. The fitness center was up to date, big and we utilized it everyday. The broad way shows: Burn the Floor was awesome, Rock of ages was well done.... Unfortunately the comedians were dry and stale.. Every 4th joke was humorous compared to Carnival or Royal Carb.. The pool entertainment was great as there was a Reggae band and the Bar staff kept up with the drink demands. The facilities were poor as our toilet only flushed once per day as we called everyday.. We did not care for making a reservation every night for dinner especially as this was not speciality dining. For the price ( $ 4,000) for a family of 3 with a ocean/ balcony view we felt we over paid. Sincerely Michigan Cruisers Read Less

The grand mother recommended the cruise with Royal Caribbean. The good food was great the staff where friendly the room attendant was great the waiter in the dinning room was great. The bad 2 broken hot tubs, Broken ice cream machine, unwashed windows, and rust abounding on the exterior of the ship. Now the Ugly I dropped my children off at the teen center on the ship for a "in room scavenger hunt" as described in the teen flyer. I come to find out it was a all over the ship scavenger hunt how easy at 10 pm. at night would it be for teen to be abducted and raped and thrown overboard? Brought the issue to guest services it was never addressed!!!!!!! More ugly RC claimed a port of call at coco cay which I hear from others frequently is cancelled so they flat out lied and offered no other port of call. Last of the ugly Shore excursions were great but very short not a good value. Read Less

I needed to get out of town for a couple of days and this cruise was the perfect opportunity to enjoy a couple of nights of spoiled adventure. I chose the Royal Suite, however, I was upgraded to the Penthouse suite the night before the cruise. Amazing! The room was absolutely everything I could hope for. Lots of space and room to relax, the balcony was 1000 square feet with a bath tub. We docked in Nassau, however, we stayed on the ship and ordered room service and enjoyed the automatic player on the piano. The scenery and atmosphere of the room was absolutely perfect. The cabins steward and the butler were right on top of things and they really treated us special. The shoreside team had all our goodies waiting for us when we arrived. The butler came and got us from Michaels club when our room was ready, a very nice touch! The ship was clean and well laid out. There wasn't a lot of time to do everything, but, the stand up comedy was funny, the casino was busy and the music was excellent. Tuscan Grille was one of the best dinners of my life, the steak was amazing! Qsuine was pretty good, but I wish I would have went to Luminae instead. Luminae for breakfast was simply stunning. Myself and my boyfriend booked this cruise last minute, about a month before sail date, because of an offer we received in our email that if we booked now we would get $500 onboard credit. This was our 3rd cruise together, the other two were on carnival. We’re from NY and so the cruise appealed to us because we didn’t have to pay for a flight or hotel before and after the cruise. Embarkment: Embarkment went smoothly and was quick. Our room was available as soon as we boarded. We were excited because this was the first time we had a balcony, unfortunately our balcony had a sprinkler above it so we would get sprayed with water every 30-45 minutes while out there. Things started to go bad the first day when we found out our room “didn’t qualify” for the $500 onboard credit. Which was the only reason we booked the cruise. And it’s not like we had an interior room we booked a balcony which was the most expensive option other than the haven. Ports: The Orlando port was the one we were looking the least forward to only because it wasn’t an island but nevertheless I was excited to go to Universal or sea world. We ended up not being able to go, and Disney wasn’t an option either. The ship get to Orlando around 1pm, leaves at 8 and it’s an hour to Disney, universal, sea world from the port. So you’d only have about 5 hours at the amusement park. We went to JFK space center-the only thing to do there is watch imax movies. 1/5 The Great stirrup Cay island is the cruise ships private island and other than the fact that the beach is crowded because everyone from the boat is there and sometimes there’s more than one boat, the island is beautiful, the food is free and it’s great there’s no one pressuring you to buy anything. So I give the island a 5/5. BUT you realistically only spend 4 hours on this beach. In order to get on this island you have to take a smaller boat from the ship. The disembarked then was a NIGHTMARE we waited in line for over an hour and then waited another 45 minutes sitting in an auditorium waiting to get on the transport ferry. And the staff was not clear about why you were sitting and waiting so long. Very disorganized. I would love to give Nassau a review because we were planning on going to Atlantis but I can’t because the captain cancelled the port due to bad weather. The funny thing was the day we were supposed to gonwas beautiful weather and the the captain sailed us right into a storm anyways and the last two days on the ship waves were making it up to our balcony and he boated rocked so bad. We were both sea sick for the 2 days. Food: The food was just alright. The sit down dinners in the main dining were good and the waiters were great and accommodating. The buffet had better options in comparison to Carnival’s buffet but what was disappointing was that there was no breakfast in the main dining room, your only option was the buffet. And there was no dress up night in the main dining room which is something we love about carnival. Disembarkment: A nightmare. Thank god we didn’t have to catch a plan. So slow and disorganized. Misc: The arcade was expensive we only used it once and that’s one of our favorite pass times The room was nice and the staff took good care of us Overall I’d give it a 1/5. At the end of the cruise we were glad it was over and felt like we needed a vacation after this vacation. So disappointing and a waste of money. I did win $400 in the casino though! Read Less

Chose this cruise based off of price and date of vacation. There was not much to do for young adults. We were unable to go on our shore excursion and they tried to charge us extra for a supplemental excursion. Pricing was not clear for the Spa. Still had to pay for the entire cruise even though we had to leave early because of maintenance on the ship. Very disappointed with the overall experience. Only positive was the food and comedians on board. The ship is very outdated and it showed. One of the main features is the Casino so if you don't gamble there was not much to do. The ship has a small pool outside and inside. Most of the time the Jacuzzis were closed which was disappointing. We received multiple answers from different members of the guest services staff. This caused much confusion. Overall, I would not recommend going with this cruise ship. Read Less

My wife and I sailed on the Disney Dream the last week in Nov 2017 to Nassau and Castaway Cay. Overall it was a good cruise. We were by ourselves so will review the adult areas of the ship for those sailing without children. A Disney cruise is obviously designed for families with children ages 5-13 (in our opinion) but they also have adult areas and activities. This was our 22nd cruise overall and 2nd on a Disney ship, prior was the Disney Magic. We preferred the larger Dream as it had more activities and common areas, also a larger adult pool area and more adult clubs. EMBARKATION: We booked the early embarkation at 11am as we drove over from Orlando. Plenty of parking at the terminal for $85 for 5 days/4 nights. I splurged for preferred parking right next to the terminal for $105 and boy was that a mistake – it was outside parking and a flock of birds must have liked my car as it was covered in bird droppings. I wasn’t parked under a tree so no clue why. Next time it’s the $85 parking garage across the street! Getting on was a snap at 11am, we were on the ship within 15 minutes. Bit of a line at security but it moved fast. We had lunch in the dining room rather than fight the crowds at the buffet. Cabins were available at 1pm. CABIN: We had a balcony stateroom with an obstructed view (9012) which was slightly cheaper than a regular balcony. We didn’t mind the obstruction as it gave us shade in the front area and sun in the back. We really liked the room layout, especially the two bathrooms (one shower/sink, one toilet/sink). There was plenty of storage in the room. Our cabin steward was excellent and kept the room clean and made up. TIP: In order to have lights and air conditioning, you have to insert a card in a slot by the door. Designed for your room pass obviously, but any card will work (credit card, etc). This way you don’t have to keep inserting your room key. FOOD: We liked the rotational dining concept with the same servers each night in a different dining room. Our servers were terrific, as good as you’d expect from a Disney cruise. Overall the food was very good. Mostly seafood which my wife enjoyed, I prefer beef and chicken and those dishes were good but not great. Steaks were a little tough. TIP: If you are adults-only, pick late dining as there are fewer children then and thus a quieter experience. We rarely went to the buffet as we heard it was crowded. For breakfast and occasional lunches we went to the dining room instead and had great meals in a peaceful setting. As we spent most of our ship time on Deck 11 by the pool and spa, we took advantage of the food café’s between the adult and family pools. The pizza at Luigi’s wasn’t good at all, but Flo’s Café had great sandwiches (inc panini’s) and a selection of fresh fruit. Tow-mater’s Grill had good hamburgers and other grilled items. We usually had a late afternoon snack here as we had late dining. Never crowded and you can take the food to your pool chairs if you prefer. Soda machines are to the back on Deck 11, also in the buffet on Deck 11. CLOTHING: Disney has casual dining now so you don’t need a suit/tie. You can wear jeans and shirts to dinner if you want. They do have an optional dress-up night which was our 2nd night at Nassau. The next night was Castaway Cay and they had the optional pirate dress-up night and fireworks display. POOL: Adult pool area was very relaxing and also had two large Jacuzzis. On our 2 port days, you could get loungers pretty easily. On our sea day, loungers were gone by noon but there were more loungers on Decks 12 and 13 forward for adults. The family pool area was always very crowded and I can’t speak for chairs there. I did the Aqua Duck water slide once, it was okay but not worth waiting in line for. I did it early afternoon when we were at Castaway Cay so there was no line. SPA: We booked a day at the Rainforest Spa online before the cruise. Onboard we visited the spa and booked it for 2 more days. The Rainforest has 10 thermal couches and 2 small jacuzzis (each seats 2) plus an assortment of saunas and fancy showers. Unfortunately it lacks any other chairs or loungers. The thermal couches are very warm so you can only spend an hour at most before the heat gets to you. If we did it again, we’d only go with the one day pass and use it on the sea day. Good news is it wasn’t crowded except for the jacuzzis. ENTERTAINMENT: A very definite plus for Disney! We loved the three Disney performances and the other night’s entertainer, a comedy ventriloquist, was very good. One of the Disney shows was their new Beauty and the Beast show which was fantastic. Just over an hour in length but included all of the songs from the movies. TIP: Get to the shows at least 15 mins early, preferably 30 mins early for Beauty as it was packed! The other thing we liked was their movie theater. That week they played Coco which was a new release so we saw it for free. They also played Thor: Ragnarok that week. NASSAU: We had been to Nassau so weren’t excited about it. We booked the cheapest Atlantis tour which included a guided tour of the “Atlantis ruins” and their shark tank, about 2 hours of walking. Then we were free to explore the resort. They ran shuttle buses back to the ship every 30 mins. As it was late November, the water was too chilly for any water activities in our opinion (we’re from Florida). CASTAWAY CAY: We like Castaway Cay but that day it was rainy in the morning and the water was chilly. We didn’t see many folks in the water but the sun came out later on. We did the Castaway 5K Race which was a lot of fun. You sign up at Guest Services or Port Excursions desk. The group meets at 8am and you head off the ship first for the 9am fun run. There were almost 200 runners but the course is well laid out so there was plenty of room for the fast runners, or plodders like us, and walkers. DEBARKATION: The breakfast times depend on your dining times – early dining had breakfast at 7am, late dining breakfast was at 8:30am. The buffet was open also, I believe, although there was some confusion with the printed schedule. You could walk-off the ship at 6:30am with your luggage if you had to go early. We were glad for a leisure morning and we didn’t depart the ship until 9am. Customs line was a little slow so we didn’t leave the terminal until 9:30am for our car. Again, it was parked right next to the ship so easy to find. Just had to go to a car wash in Orlando to clean off the bird stuff lol! Read Less

I'm sure that there are many cruise lines that are willing to offer more at a little higher rate. For a first timer this was an opportunity to get my "feet wet". The value was good for the services received. The breakaway was clean. The cabin was clean and all surrounding public area such a bathrooms, stairs, hallways etc. The vocal entertainment was spot on. The bar tendering staff on decks 15, 16 & 17 where the best. The dining staff that i dealt with where also pleasant. Shore excursions i personally give 2thumbs down or 2 stars. #1. I wasn't sure if it was choppy waters or a poison sea snake in the beach water to norwegian's private islands. (Funds where refunded) #2.coco beach not quit a day at the beach. Too windy and dirty. #3.bahamas the weather was warm but only 1 day at dock. Even though ship docked the night b4. Food was decent and pretty much the same in most compliment dining rooms and buffet, unless you go asian or specialty dining. These spots served quality food and service. I'm a person who can find enjoyment in the worst possible case. I did just that. What others found unpleasant i made pleasant. Even a few racist. I met amazing and interesting people. I would advise all first timers and vets cruiser to never gave up the credit cards to load your ship payment card. I received $150 on board spending and added cash as needed. Carry only 1 card and use it for emergencies only. And cash out your card the final night and get back or clear up your account in cash. Who want to wait for a surprise bill in the mail.? Read Less

I only like to cruise from late fall to late spring as to avoid hurricanes and rough waters, and because I live just 20 minutes from Cape Liberty and can avoid flying to FL at additional cost it's a no brainer. Nothing like the convenience of just walking onto your ship with your luggage and not worrying about connections or flight delays. This was our first time on Anthem of the Seas and the ship is enormous. I generally always request a room far from the elevator banks as to avoid late night noise, but it's not necessary on this ship. Our room was so far from everything, we felt as if we were walking miles a day, and the elevator banks are pretty separate from the room corridors so if there will be a next cruise on the Anthem, I will not request my room be so far from the center of the ship. Things I loved about the ship are that is has so much to do and so many different venues to do them at. The open air deck pools and hot tubs could only really be used for 4 days due to cold weather on the way down and the way back. But the covered pool and whirlpools are great for still being in the sun but out of the wind, and the Solarium pools complex for ages 16 and over is really warm and the smoky glass has protection from the sun without slathering on the sunscreen. No screaming children or splashing in the Solarium. Between basketball, dodge ball, rollerskating, bumper cars, and the gym, fitness and fun can be had all day long. Not by me, but by anyone who's into that :) The NorthStar that has you hanging high above the ship is really neat, but if you're afraid of heights, don't do it. This ship has a lot of families with young children, so there are lots of strollers and crying kids at times. But there is so much for little ones on this ship, a baby pool, splash pool, you can see why it would be a draw for families with very young children. Shows are very professional and the technology in the Two70 lounge is awesome. Saw a virtual reality fireworks show and the Spectra's Cabaret show there and both were spectacular. Two Broadway type shows in the Royal Theater were also very good. Food is plentiful and dinners are very high quality. Breakfast and lunch buffets have lots of choices and are very good. I can't see spending my money on specialty restaurants when I've paid a good bit for a staggering selection of very good free food, but if you want a specialty restaurant, they've got quite a few. There are so many ADA accessible public bathrooms and ADA accessible staterooms on this ship, that it is really an inclusive place for those with disabilities. I saw many Jazzy's and other motorized mobility devices, and staff is always helpful in getting the disabled through lines quickly. Personally, I like a smaller ship better. There were over 4,900 passengers on this cruise, plus all the crew and staff, and it feels like a big city floating on the water. A little impersonal. Elevator banks are sometimes very crowded and waits for the elevator can be long. But the friendliness of the staff and the relative comfort of the cabins I find the same on all Royal cruises. The disembarkation process was very well organized and much better than I expected with how many people were on the ship. Do yourself a favor and after you get your luggage in the terminal, get a porter who will take you right to the head of the customs line for a small tip. It's definitely worth it. Read Less

Nice prise and exiting destinations. Good entertainment, music, restaurants, gym facilities. This was our 1. cruise, and we had transport fram Hilton Hotel New Jersey to the terminal, also bact to the ship after ending the cruise. On the return we had to wait inside the bus about one hour, and we did not know why! Our cabin with balcony had all that we wanted, and the man ho cleaned the cabin was very nice, and helped us a lot. So satisfied. We used the gym facilities, dansing clases and the pool. The food and restaurantservis we also give top score. On board we did go to three musicals, The Gift and We Will Rock you topped my list. We could not ashore on the island Coco Cay because of strong wind an big waves. Instead we got almost two days in Nassau. In Nassau we shopped, and was on the lovely beach both days. In Hard Rock Cafe Nassau we bought lovely souvenirs. We loved this cruise. Read Less

Only bad thing is they only have 2 FREESTYLE Coke machines on deck 12 an there would be a line. If you get the beverage package you could use it at Starbucks, so drink up an eat Up. Great trip never last as long as it should. Didn't have any luck in casino but saw people walking away with large amounts of cash. Have fun an keep sailing Royal Caribbean the best deal for your money. go Royal Go Royal Go Royal Go royal Go Royal Go Royal Best in the world. You will be very happy you went with this ship. The ship, crew and food were first rate. Million Dollar Quartet was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. Definitely will see again. The comedians were awful. Attended the 18+ show and expected to be in tears laughing so hard from the wealth of material available. Barely broke a smile.. Very unfortunate, Shore excursions overpriced and not very good value. Harvest Key, Norwegian's own island was a waste of time. You can get a tan on the boat just as easy and use your drink package as well. Every stop you would see the same watches, cheap jewelry, bamboo sheets for sale. Annoying the third and fourth port of call as you have to walk right thru the stores every time you get on and off the ship. What upset me the most was the amount of money the casino was taking from the passengers. I do understand that the boat is a business that is supposed to make money. However there is a limit between making money and gouging your customers. Eg 1. Blackjack tournament with a $500 prize. The boat took over $1800 in entries. $1300 profit is really greedy. Eg 2. Texas Hold-em Tournament. Over $2800 in entries, 3 prizes totaling just over $2100 were given out. $700 profit for a 3 hour tourney. Eg 3. The hold-em poker table took a 10% rake of every hand. That amounted to $250-400/hour depending on the size of the hands. The boat was the only winner. As I said the boat is a business to make money, but greed and gouging of your passengers is not the way to do business. I hope they change their ways. Finally, paying for water. $6.75 for a 2 litre bottle. 1/2 gallon in the US. More greed. If you didn't buy their water package and you went to a drink station to fill up a water container you were made to feel guilty like you were stealing. Read Less

I was looking for something quick and easy to end my summer and the 4 night Bahamas on RCCL Majesty was perfect. I went solo with a stack of books to read and although I didn't get to all of it I was completely satisfied. I'm a frequent cruiser on RCCL so perhaps I'm a little biased but the ships, staff, and overall experience make me look at RCCL first when planning a cruise and they always seem to top my list. It was my first time to Coco Cay and the amenities and variety of things to do were great. Having been to Nassau many times I stayed aboard the ship and it was relaxing and satisfying. being solo I didn't go to the dining room but ate at the buffet daily. There was a good variety everyday. I try to watch what I eat and it was very easy to follow my usual healthy eating plan on board. Being a smaller ship the fitness facility was very limited in size but there was daily yoga, stretch classes, cycling, and an adequate amount of equipment. Overall it was an excellent experience. i chose this cruise as it was the shortest that was available and I could find on this date. I heard great reviews about RCI so chose RCI. I was not disappointed. My husband who doesn't like to leave the house enjoyed the cruise and had a great time. We enjoyed on shore and on the ports. Throughout the ship, all the crew members had excellent customer service. I work in a customer service job and I should say, RCI has the best customer service. Dining; We had breakfast and lunch at windjammer and dinner at the Main dining room. In both the dining rooms, they had great choice. In Windjammer, I never saw a tray half full. They were refilled instantly. Didn't have to wait for an item. Breakfast: There was a station where eggs were made anyway you like it. They had Indian, British BF(baked beans, sausage, etc), asian: Fried rice, and all American breakfast items. there was fresh orange juice station for a cost if you don't have a beverage package. Lunch: There was American, Mexican, Mediterranean, Greek, Asian, Indian cuisine, etc. Dinner at main dining: Like other reviewers said, if I didn't like an entree, I ordered another. The waiters said that I could order something different if I didn't like what I ordered. We enjoyed the entertainment my the Cruise Director. Meet the crew, flag parade was fantastic, 70's and 80's music trivia was very entertaining. Ground transportation: I arranged the shuttle to the airport on-board the ship which was a rip off. It is $18.00 per person and the service was not worth the price. I was told the bags will be transported to the bus and that was not the case. I had to drag the bags all over looking for the bus. There were no instructions on where to get the bus. I saw the sign for Pre-arranged transportation and that was not the correct location. This was one of the 2 complaints/disappointments I had. The other disappointment was the muster drill. This was a joke. They had grouped about 30 passengers into different sections and had a crew member demo the drill. People standing in the back could not see a thing. We heard but couldn't follow what was being said. I prayed that I wont be in a situation where I have to use the life jacket. If you like to shop, you do get good bargains on perfume and skin products. Most Estee Lauder products were less than I normally pay at a major department store or on line. I waited till the last day thinking items go on clearance sale. Not true. So if you see something you like and the price is right, buy it day one as you will get a good pick. I bought the beverage package and it was well worth it. I bought it before the cruise, when RCI had a sale. i paid $18/day. Well worth it. If you want non alcoholic cocktails, get it at the bar in the pool deck. In other locations, they don't make good mojitos and pina coladas. Check in and check out didn't take long. I was at the prot around 11 am and didn't have to wait long to complete the check in process. The luggage was brought to the room around 1:30 pm. The big carry on I packed wasn't necessary. The next time, I will just walk in with my crossbody. Read Less

I want to saw, my hats is off to the employees at Grand Celebration Cruise Ship. Everyone was super nice and very helpful. The food was excellent and their was plenty of it, must have gained 10lbs or more. I have been on other cruises but this one was the best by far. Our room was fresh and clean, their were plenty of activities that kept us busy, one big party. If anyone is planning a cruse the Grand Celebration won't disappoint. Thanks again for the great memories. The price was affordable and we booked the Bahamas stay for 5 days and 2 day Cruise through Royal Seas Cruise Line. Everything was included from 3 nights in Orlando and 5 days in Bahamas and then 3 night in Ft Lauderdale. What a wonderful time we had, well worth the money spent. Again if your looking for a cruise you simply cannot afford to pass up the Grand Celebration Cruise Line. This cruse is for everyone who wants to have a good time. Read Less

We have been on 2 Carnival Cruises previously and Royal Caribbean was by far the better of the two. The embarkment was quick and easy, especially if you printed out your Seapass card before getting to the service desk. We,me and boyfriend, got to the ship around 11am. We were able to walk around the ship, get a drink, the Windjammer cafe was open for lunch. The food was so good. Salmon, calamari, Fresh great tasting fruit, salads, burgers, fries and deserts. The ship is a little dated, but dont let that be a factor. We first went to the Bahamas. There is a channel, 22, that has a person (Kimberly for us), that explained the shopping district. While we didn't go shopping, some of her information about the area was helpful.( FYI The Bearded Clam (#19) on cruise map that was given, is a fantastic local dive bar- buy one get one free Bahama Mamas 2/$10.). We went to Pearl Island as an excusion. Beautiful place. We were there for 4 hours and it included BBQ lunch plus one free rum punch. Its like having a private beach all to yourself. feel free to explore the Lighthouse. CocoCay was the next Island we visited. Royal Caribbean own private Island. Another great place. Lunch is included and if you have a Drink package, all your drinks are free there (except for the drinks inside a pineapple..you'll be charged for that). You'll want to get there early 9:30am. The water is so clear that you can see the fish around the rocks and just walking around in the water was so nice. Most ppl came on the island around 11:30 and not that the water got less clear, but lots of things kicked up from the bottom and made it cloudy-still beautiful though. When getting off the Tender (a boat has to take you here from the ship) going to the right of the Island gets really crowded, make your way to the left and there are 2 other areas with beach chairs/ water. You can go so far out in the water, have a seat out there and drink your beer. They do have a Tiki hut bar out in the water. Bring a water camera-so many things to take pics of! Our last stop was Key West. At Key West, the ship had a mandatory immigration inspection of everyone on the ship. Had to have seapass card, passport ready to show. It went by fast. EVERYONE MUST DO IT. I don't know how many ppl they had to call on the intercom for not showing up. Key West was really a nice place to go. Its so clean, no one harassed you to do anything. Tons of roosters walking around-which I thought was funny. We went on a 3 hour Catermeran & Snorkle excursion.. 1 hour sail out to the Worlds 3rd largest Coral Reef, 1 hour to snorkle there and 1 hour ride back. The ride back was great. Free all you can drink beer, soda, margaritas. The crew was fantastic! very helpful and very fun to be around. Be sure to bring some cash to tip them! They take a picture of you when you first get on. it cost $20 if you want to buy it. Please remember when getting back on your Cruise Ship-have your seapass ready before getting up to Security. More ppl hold up the lines looking for this. It really should be habit that when you get on and off the cruise, you need to show it. The service on the ship was great. The ppl who cleaned our room, did it about 3 times a day. We always had fresh towels. They always asked about our day and if we needed anything. Benny the Bartender was our favorite guy. The gym was basic but there needs to be an age limit. I was trying to run on a treadmill and there was a 5 yr old that kept trying to jump on with me. After the 3rd time I had to make a comment to mom. Breakfast on the last day is a mad house. All the cruise goers somehow lost all manners they had all during the cruise. Theres ppl all over the place, grabbing whatever is around. Not the ships fault, but just an FYI on behaviors at this time. You just may forego eating there, like my boyfriend..lol. Disembarkment from the ship was fast. we had no issues and took our own luggage with us. Overall a great cruise. I will be back to cruise with Royal Caribbean again-maybe I'll bring the kids..lol Read Less

We chose this cruise, due to the location of the port in Miami, and the length of the itinerary. The staff was amazing, and our waiter Venice made our dinner a nice experience every night. The food was good, but not a great. There was plenty to do for young adults, and the ports of call all had plenty to do as well. We had a balcony room, 8670, in the back of the ship. It was only loud one morning, pulling in to the port at Nassau Bahamas in which we could feel a vibration as we pulled in. There were two main shows that were put on by the singers and dancers that were both great. I believe it was their last time performing those acts on the ship. Coco Cay Island was fun, my wife and I swam out to the Aqua Park and played around. It was a lot of fun. The main dining crew was amazing. They worked with me to change our dinner table, after an unpleasant experience with another guest at our table the first night. Read Less

My cabin was always super super clean, the guy who took care of my cabin was always more than attentive to us and I picked up the room well, plus he offered me his help for any other information we needed. There was very good attention of parts of all in general and I want to highlight the good attention that we had from our waiter DONDON and his assistant. Everything was very cute at night doing super good activities. The boys in the photography also did everything possible to make us look beautiful ehhehe, they helped us enough to get all our photo. We have nothing bad to say about our vacations everything was amazing. I have no words to describe this. Throughout the day they were always open to offer any type of food that we would love. We were always on time at all ports. The breakfast was good good. Read Less
