Never have I ever

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Glory

We cruise often, in fact, we went on 2 cruises just last year so I speak from experience when I say the Carnival Glory was by far the most disappointing. We have never encountered having to wait in extremely long lines for EVERYTHING. There was already a lack of variety of food, and definitely a lack of quality food, but to have to wait for what was available to choose from was completely ...

We will miss you Allure. Our final cruise on the Allure before she moves to Miami began as usual with effortless embarkation and a hearty greeting from the crew. First stop, the Crown Lounge for coffee where we met our host. We then found our balcony cabin which was exactly, to the foot, halfway between elevators. The room was very clean and setup per RCL's excellent standards. Our room steward ...

Too many people and food wasn't great

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Freedom

I hate lines

This was our first Carnival cruise, and the first with kids (11 and 9). We elected to eat at the Lido Buffet for the trip, I didn't want to have to pack extra nice clothes for the restaurant, and the food was "ok". I've been on other cruises in the past where the buffets are loaded with so many different types of food. The Lido buffet had 4 lines, I believe and it was all the same thing. The ...

Our Haven experience was not what we expected

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

Feedback on our stay in the Haven on the Breakaway - The people that were working in the restaurant, bar and housekeeping were topnotch; with one exception our butler was mediocre at best (very different than the one we had on the Sky in October). - The Haven is definitely not mobility-challenged-people friendly. We were staying on deck 15 the normal way to deck 16, where the bar and the ...

Review of Carnival Sunshine We booked this cruise for a first-time cruise for our grandchildren in June of 2024. We were excited about Princess Cays. The cruise was to stop in Nassau and Princess Cays. Due to rough seas, we were unable to Dock at princes Cay. Our second day at Sea it rained off and on most of the day. NO compensation was given for the missing port of call. I have been on ...

Less cruise for More money!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

A bit underwhelming but good enough. Stand out's that deserve shout outs are the CD cruisin susan, the concierge Julia and the room service teams these people reminded of of sailing before it became so popular. The cost cutting can be seen and felt everywhere. The drinks were awful, the food while tasty were the smallest portions to date and the servers/bartenders were stretched way to thin. ...

Surprisingly great time on the MSC Magnifica!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Magnifica

This was our 8th MSC cruise, and based on past experiences, we had rather low expectations for the Magnifica. However, we were very pleasantly surprised, and thought this was our best MSC cruise ever. MSC has listened to the complaints and changed the muster drill to be similar to that of Royal Caribbean. They have also hired an American Cruise Director, and overall have tried very hard to ...

We booked a balcony, got the lowest level room with a porthole. Room smells like a combination of body odor and smoke, toilet rarely flushes, sometimes it will, sometimes 10 minutes later, and sometimes it is hours later.. drying our hair the second night set off alarms in our rooms for with security coming letting us know her body back was on. We have lots of business cards, time wasted in line ...

Awesome

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

From someone who has cruised with Royal and Carnival this is by far the most relaxing and fun cruise for it's price point. I would not recommend this cruise to those with kids. I didn't have an issue with this because I cruised with my sixteen year old daughter (we spend most of our time laying out and in the spa). The ship is older but beautiful. We had a junior balcony and loved it. To be honest ...

LESSOR EXPERIENCE THAN HOPED FOR

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

User Avatar

The staff was nicely attired and well groomed. Many of the lower position staff (like those involved in assisting with safety drills) did not understand English and couldn’t answer simple questions. When understood, Staff members at all levels were very dedicated to complying with passenger requests. Our 9th deck cabin (including the bathroom) and its furniture needed an update. The cabin size ...
