Ok, first time giving a review but wanted people to know not to believe all the bad reviews for MSC.We have cruised more than 35 times on almost every cruise line. We decided to try our luck with MSC because of the price expecting the worst. What a surprise - turned out to be one of our best cruises! Embarking & disembark-super fast and easy- staff were great food was pretty darn good- dining ...

Exceeded my expectations

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Many time cruiser but first on the Royal mega-size. Exceeded expectations, yes there are 6000 people but they're spread out and there are some nice places to hang out without crowds like the Central Park. Had five grandchildren along (ages 3 to 14) and they all found fun things to do. Coco Cay day was impacted by cold rain but I'm sure when the weather is nice it's even better. Liked the ...

MSC is different, but that's not a bad thing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

The wife and I took our 10th anniversary cruise (and first cruise ever) on the MSC Divina. We were originally going to try Virgin, as the kiddos were staying home with the grands for this one, but by the time we booked Scarlet Lady was full. MSC caught our attention from YouTube and online research. The price point was hard to beat and we weren't looking for a megaship for our first time out so ...

Although it was an older ship, we would recommend

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Conquest

2-5 Cruises • Age 50s

The ship is one of the older ones, I believe it was built in 2002. The outside shows the age, but has been updated very nicely inside. The entire ship was very clean and nicely maintained. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious with comfortable beds. We had a suite with a balcony and it was a perfect size for the three of us. It had a king size bed, or you could request two twins, and a ...

Good Trip on the Carnival Liberty

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We’ve just returned from a three day cruise out of Port Canaveral with Bimini as the only port of call. We enjoyed a post cruise night at a port hotel to celebrate a birthday. The cruise was a great success. Our party consisted of two couples. We’re all in our early 60’s. One member in our party had special dietary needs. Specifically, he has a tracheotomy and must eat via a feeding tube. ...

Older Ship, but Princess has their act together!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We chose this cruise based on a great casino offer. We had sailed on her in 2008 and 2009 when she was fresh and nearly new. Today the ship is in fairly decent shape. Worn areas show in the elevators, and some of the common areas. The crew in general were outstanding! Nice positive vibe from the people who make this party barge go! Princess really had their act together on embarkation, ...

Cruising from Baltimore in March Comes with Risks

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

This cruise was most notable for the weather - it was cold, windy, and wet for most of the cruise. Really the only beautiful day was our Half Moon Cay day - so that was nice. But the seas were quite rough most of the time (it's great the ship has stabilizers) too. So overall, if you are looking for warmth and beautiful sunny days - just be aware you might not get them at this time of year. ...

Fun Getaway!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

First cruise since COVID, and second time on Anthem. Embarkation was so smooth and took the most of 5 minutes inside before walking onto the cruise ship. I really like how you can do most of the check-in online through the APP. Let me say the APP is one of the best. Food I enjoyed the food throughout the ship -- buffet, main dining room, doghouse, cafe 270, sorrento's and cafe promenade. ...

Fun Adult Vacation

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Read some other reviews and although the ship layout and size has created some issues, overall we had a good vacation. This was our fifth cruise with Carnival but the first one out of Charleston and aboard the Sunshine. We didn’t splurge on any in port excursions but we did partake in the faster to the fun, cheers program, the steak house, internet, and deep tissue massages. Even though it is an ...

7 day 70's R & R Charter cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Summit

User Avatar

10+ Cruises • Age 70s

This was a charter cruise so I will try to limit my review to those items to the Celebrity ship itself. We have been on this ship several times in a Consierge cabin with nice balcony. The room was spotless & our cabin steward, Komang, was great. As this was a intense music cruise not a lot of time was spent in the cabin but the time there was comfortable. We felt the food in the Main Dining ...
