We chose this as we'd done the Med to death and knew all the ports inside out but with a tight time window, we jumped onto this ship to see the fjords and try P&O. Whenever we've gone out of Southampton before, it's been pretty slick getting on the Indie but this was from the Mayflower terminal. We turned up at the time we were told to arrive and, just as any doctors waiting room, we had to ...

We booked this cruise last minute as we have never been to Norway. We have two girls age 13 and 9 who were very excited as we have been cruising with Royal Caribbean in the past and they thoughly enjoyed the experience. This was not however the case P&O sell this ship as family friendly it is if you were brought up pre war when children were to be kept in nursery it or play rooms, They was ...

We wanted to experience a cruise, and the Fjords was the ideal location. Unfortunately, we experienced the following: - Inside cabin had stains on the carpet - Corridor smelt of dirty toilets. - buffet had scratched plastic cups. The first one I picked up would never be clean, so there would always be a group of scratched dirty cups on the side which were full of dried up food from ...

Embarkation was busyt but quite organised. The cabin was spacious with excellent sized balcony. Cleanliness within the cabin was off a high standard and the nightly bed turn down and chocolates was a nice touch. as was the complimentary bottle of champagne . The entertainment was varied and of a good standard. Bingo available for those that enjoy the game and lots of quizzes. However not sure ...

The embarkation was very easy. Our cabin was very roomy, the cabin steward kept it spotless. The waiters in the Oriental dining room Alan & Stanley couldn't have been nicer. The scenery made the week worthwhile. Now for the bad part. I complained about the cleanliness in the diningroom (thick dust on some of the panels). As already mentioned by others, the buffet was booring, nothing like we had ...

Worst Cruise!

It started badly! Last voyage had Norovirus on board so we were asked to turn up for embarkation 2 hours later than advertised! Turned up at that time and it took us 3 hours to get on board ship! On previous cruises once on board we have been shown to our cabin, no P&O way find it yourselves! Captain informed us that this was due to a passenger bring norovirus on board on last voyage. A fact ...
