We chose the ship for the intineraries and for the faciilites it offers and we did two single week cruises in June of this year and then in November rather than a single two week holiday. Having cruised mainly on RCI and Celebrity ships, the Azura falls short, but mostly in ways that could be remedied. 2nd P&O cruise for myself and my partner. We had a fantastic time visiting some great locations and met some lovely folk during our time on Azura. Embarkation was pretty smooth, had to wait a little while on luggage being delivered to cabin but not a major issue. We had an inside cabin which was spotless. Whilst the crew were attentive some had only very limited English. The ship was immaculately clean and our cabin steward was lovely but the ice bucket ordered for 6pm each evening more often than not failed to arrive on time if at all. Well Azura delivered again. Flights, transfers perfect. Flew with Jet2 on the brand new 321neo out from Manchester flight was 6:55AM lovely aircraft and great crew. Night before since this was a scheduled flight we were able to check the luggage in the night before then in the morning go straight to security. Found it a bit dauntingly busy in places but the staff really tried their very best to keep up with busy bars and dining rooms. Dining - A shame the app wasn't being used in my opinion. Too many overweight and ill mannered seniors on board (although there were quality passengers also). Too few comfortable seats in desirable areas unless constantly harrassed by (very polite) waiters to buy drink after drink.
