Great cruise, at a great time of year to go NYE
"Always a queue and always manic - why they keep opening and closing various sides - makes no sense - when people are having to queue to get simple food - it was same at breakfast.Overall - P & O has changed - some aspects have gone with the changes introduced for C19 compliance being the driver and now they have gone, the little keepsake of the menus, and the ship sailing info, the turndown service, the pillow choc, the bathroom flannel etc - I know this is to try and reduce costs - and working in hospitality finance I do understand why its been done - but some of the cost cutting such as keepsakes are not really saving that much - but I know bring back one then C19 can no longer be an excuse - but as we like to say its not cheap, but great value...."Read More

Nice break away

I travelled as a solo woman in her mid 40’s. I chose this cruise as it wasn’t much more expensive than booking a land based holiday, the comparing solo supplements etc. I flew in on the Saturday with Tui, but it was on an airplane ran by Titan airways, so P&O contracted to TUI who contracted out again to Titan. Made the thank you announcements quite long! Flight was comfortable and plane ...

Not bad but could be better

We had previously sailed on Azura in 2010 when she was brand new and after 14 years there was quite a difference in the state of the ship. That said she was clean and the staff were always around cleaning and polishing. Our cabin was clean and functional although the lack of USB points was an issue as we could only plug our devices in where the kettle was situated above the fridge. We didn't ...

First Cruise

I thought the ship was wonderful.however the entertainment on board left a sour taste in my mouth, they have their own onboard busker, who was rubbish to be fair, Frankie was a good singer, but the Triptonic group i was not impressed with. Our Cabin was outside with a window which i was impressed with, as the size is decent as well, and the walk in wardrobe was a great idea, all ships should have ...

Booked a balcony cabin for a trip around the Canaries and up to Madeira fly cruise reasonably well organised. The balcony cabin was spacious, but sadly showing its age over the seven days. The steward Teo was excellent keeping the cabin immaculate. The buffet fared much better food was hot and plentiful with courteous and pleasant staff, but at times it was the rugby scrum. We were ...

Great Cruise around the Canary Islands, despite getting Covid

This was my second Azura Cruise this year, and it was a definite improvement on the first. Reception stated the ship was at capacity on the day we set sail. My review is based on the ship and staff, your cruise is also impacted by the other passengers on board with you, which during my cruise were sadly quite rude and this did impact things like shows where they were leaving the theatre before ...

2nd P&O cruise for myself and my partner. We had a fantastic time visiting some great locations and met some lovely folk during our time on Azura. Embarkation was pretty smooth, had to wait a little while on luggage being delivered to cabin but not a major issue. We had an inside cabin which was spotless. The cabin steward was lovely and did a fantastic job. Food - we loved The Glass ...

Great cruise, at a great time of year to go NYE

This cruise fitted in with my work holidays and my childs school holidays - it was a decent price, as it included the flights - shame they where from Birmingham, as Manchester would have been better. There was 3 cabins booked - we had linked all 3 of the bookings - but sadly on NYE the first night only 2 of the cabins where at the same table for dinner - and this was at 5.30pm - when we only ...

Smelly Azura

After looking forward to our second cruise with P&O, the first being on Oceana, I found myself doing lots of comparisons on the two ships and I must say that Oceana far outstrips Azura.. there is/was one particular reason for this... from day 1 on the Azura there was an almost constant smell of sewage on every deck which sometimes permeated down into main dining areas. Having spoken to several ...

We have just returned from a lovely cruise aboard the Azura down to the Canaries. Food in the MDR’s and buffet were excellent. We also went to Sindhu, the Glasshouse and the Beach House. Enjoyed them all. Entertainment in the evening was of the usual high standard, and we were unable to get around to see all the acts. We were however a little disappointed with the daytime offerings. But ...

Just wanted to go somewhere to celebrate my birthday whilst combining it with a couple of places we hadn't been before. Booking easy took the benefit of having credit on board which was worth £1000 for the two of us because we had booked a suite . Paid for car parking which worked very well . Embarkation was easy , usual efficient check in. Boarding no problem. Found suite champagne and ...
