Azamara Journey Cruise November 10 thru November 20, 2018 Cuba Intensive
Miami, Santiago de Cuba (12-13), Grand Cayman (14), Cienfuegos (15-16) and Havana (17-19)
We recently completed our first cruise on Azamara on the Journey. It was a 10 day Cuba intensive cruise from Miami going to Santiago de Cuba, Grand Cayman, Cienfuegos and Havana and then back to Miami. The cruise stayed overnight ...
Well, always liked Azamara and realized they were doing Cuba with a lot of time ashore. We were led to believe that you had to do prebooked tours to meet Cuban government rules, etc... That wasn’t truly the case. Because we had a lot of on-board credits, we did some ships tours. They were very good. A bit long day one in Santiago de Cuba. Overall we wouldn’t have maybe seen some of the great ...
Thank you for the cruise review Clipperplace. I've taken Marcio's ipad class twice and both times learned something new...e.g., how to take better pictures!...
This is our second cruise on the Azamara Quest. Our first cruise was 1 1/2 years ago when she had recently come out of overhaul and the service, food and condition of the ship were exceptional. This cruise the service and food were again exception but you could see some minor wear issues in the shower and with the carpeting. These are minor issues and the crew works hard to keep the ship ...
We are two senior travelers....having 26 cruises thus far..5 or 6 on azamara. The itinerary is what sold this cruise. We had never been to key west or New Orleans. The addition of Havana to the itinerary made it even more special. We knew the ship's rooms were smaller than we were used to....but we were so happy with all the wonderful things that are inherent to the Azamara line..most ...
I chose this cruise on the Azamara Quest because I wanted to see Cuba! The CEO of Azamara was onboard and gave us a lecture of his experiences of his previous trip to Cuba. We were very well prepared when we got off ship with the well organized excursions.
I had a balcony room #4121 and stored the luggage under my bed. Being a solo traveler I felt very protected by the staff who readily ...
We choose this cruise when our travel agent made it available and we saw it had two overnights in New Orleans and an overnight in Havana Cuba. It was our third cruise with Azamara and our second on the Quest. We got what we expected and it was a very enjoyable cruise. The company must have made a lot of money in the casino. The slot machines enjoyed most everyone's donations. Tight would be ...
Thank you DGE29 for your review, and for continuing to choose Azamara Club Cruises!
We are equally excited about adding Cuba to our destinations. I'm glad you enjoyed the cruise :)...
We are a couple in our mid 60's and have about 300 days at sea with many different lines. At the present time Holland America is our favorite line.
Embarkation was very easy. Embarkation service was pleasant and friendly.
We ate in all the restaurants on board including the two speciality restaurants. The food was very good to excellent consistently. My only complaint if you can call it a ...
Thank you OpusX for your cruise review. Your 300+ days aboard ship is impressive!
We hope to welcome you back aboard an Azamara Club Cruises voyage someday soon....
This cruise was originally chosen due to its three day call in New Orleans. However only eight weeks before we were due to depart they changed the itinary to call in to Havana for two days. Fortunately they still had New Orleans as a port of call or we would have cancelled. We were not really interested in going to Cuba having travelled there extensively some years ago but it was interesting to ...
Thank you CornisheTraveller for the cruise review! I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise. We appreciate your continued loyalty to our little line!
We look forward to welcoming you aboard again...
We selected to try Azamara due to the itinerary offered: 2 sea days from/to Miami; St.John USVI; Terre de Haut - Guadeloupe; Roseau - Dominica (2 months prior sail date replaced by Philipsburg - St Maarten); Charlestown - Nevis; Gustavia - St Barts; Virgin Gorda - BVI (replaced during cruise due to bad weather & swells by St Croix USVI).
We have sailed with Cunard's QM2; Royal Caribbean's ...
