Nice Cruise, not the luxury they market

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Onward

We decided to take the 12 days trans Atlantic crossing on the Onward. This was out 14th cruise, 5 or which was on Azamara, and 3 were on the Onward. I didn't expect cruise on Azamara again since the last two Onward cruises were just average at best. But with the past cruise credits we had and the good price on the repositing of the board, we decided to cruise with them one more time. My ...

Love Azamara but..

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Pursuit

We chose this cruise because we like the small ship experience with lots of sea days. We wanted to see Rio and Lisbon. Embarkation was a bit off-putting. We already had our bags tagged with our room number and did not need assistance getting our bags to the drop-off point. There was no place to drop our bags and we had to stand in line while others that used the porters were taken care of. Our ...

This was our first cruise with Azamara but we have cruised with the following lines, Celebrity (Elite Status), NCL, HAL & Princess. Azamara advertises as a luxury cruise line but we feel they fall short with making this claim. The good: • Azamara has a reciprocal agreement with Celebrity so we received all of the perks that come with our Celebrity Elite status. • The muster drill ...

Wish there were a way to rate 3 1/2 as that is more appropriate. This was our third cruise on the Quest and interestingly, I would have rated the earlier two cruises higher. In fact, we were on the Quest in September and were more pleased with the experience. The problem with this cruise is that it was a Transatlantic with 7 full days at sea. While we normally love TA's and tell friends who ...

First try on Azamara

This was our first time on Azamara although we have cruised almost 20 times. Having said that, I must come clean and admit my favorite line is Seabourn. I also must admit that I compared the two lines and usually found Azamara came up short. I think my biggest problem was in overall service. We quickly learned that we needed to order multiple drinks at the first and usually only opportunity at a ...

Not a luxury cruise!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Quest

We wanted to see what a luxury cruise line was and what would be different than the wonderful cruises we have had on Celebrity. Best I can say is that nothing was as great as the experience we have had on Celebrity and it seemed like the ones who loved it were phobic against large ships and loved the smaller ports these lines go to. On that basis, Azamara is ok but not GREAT. The finesse of ...
