Amazing Azamara!!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Journey

This was out fourth cruise on the Journey. Loved the redecorating. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for providing us with what we needed to have Sabbath services onboard. The apple tarts were delicious. Would have liked to have a more private setting for the services. There was a lot of noise from the bar and another reception happening. It was wonderful to meet Lek ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We had wanted to visit St. Petersburg for some time and this cruise offered 3 days to explore and were not disappointed. Embarkation was easy despite the weather. Cabin was complete with birthday balloons and was well located. Dining was pleasant in Discoveries restaurant though sometimes felt the menu was a little limited. Windows café was nice when ...

Great itinerary for sure...and that got us back on a cruise boat (we had said never again after "doing" a few too many huge ships and resenting the lines and unhappy employees. Didn't even know until after booking about the special event night (which was a private concert at the St Petersburg Symphonic Hall with their orchestra) and it was a night to remember for sure. Food was well executed ...

Azamara Quest and The Baltic; a great time.

This was our second trip with Azamara; we were on the Journey last year. We are 2 Senior women who travel together quite a bit. We like the size of the ship. The renovations done were very nice. On both of our Azamara cruises embarkation and disembarkation ran smoothly. We stayed in a hotel in Stockholm for 4 nights before getting on the ship. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cabin ...

A Thoroughly Interesting, Enjoyable but Tiring Cruise with a Top Class Crew

We chose this cruise line because we had sailed with it the year before and had enjoyed it so much. We like the smaller size ship with fewer passengers thereby giving it a more intimate feel. Also gratuities and complimentary drinks are included so your know where you are so to speak when you commence the cruise. However, the standard of the complimentary wine list for 2016 was not as good ...

Lovely Baltic Rendezvous

My family of 3 adults joined 2 other couples for this first time Azamara Quest cruise and Baltic location. We thoroughly enjoyed the casual dining experience, the uncrowded buffet halls, the no-long-lines off the ship at port, the many lounge chairs on top deck, the uncrowded small public seating areas, and the ease of embarkation in Stockholm and disembarkation in Copenhagen. Taxis are plenty, ...

This was an outstanding cruise! We picked this cruise for 2 reasons: the itinerary and our previous pleasant experiences with Azamara. We were not disappointed. We were traveling with friends; this was their first cruise in many years. They were also very impressed and pleased. The refurbished Quest is gorgeous, particularly the re-purposed Living Room. I think it was our favorite place ...

The Only Way To go

This was so much nicer than the mega ships we've sailed on in the past. Everything was top notch. The cabin was not huge but there was plenty of storage for all our stuff and the cabin was kept very neat and spotlessly clean. The food was good, not gourmet but very good especially in the specialty restaurants. Food presentation was excellent as was the service. The entire staff was friendly and ...

Good, but not top tier...

Our party of two couples booked Azamara Journey for a Baltic cruise because we wanted an upper tier cruise line, and because Journey was scheduled for three days in St. Petersburg which would allow us to do a one day trip to Moscow on the middle day. Journey provided us a good, but not great experience and allowed us to take our Moscow excursion, which was great. Consequently, we essentially met ...

Basically, a wonderful cruise. The positives: Actual embarkation was a breeze (finding the ship was very difficult - some temporary signage would have been helpful). Entertainment for the most part was stellar. Bar service was excellent, they were always willing to make a Cosmo with Finlandia vodka so it was a no-charge drink. It was wonderful docking right near all the action in St. Petersburg, ...
