I chose this cruise for its North African itinerary which was changed at the last moment, when Morocco closed its ports to cruise ships. This was probably the biggest factor in my disappointment. We have sailed with Azamara 3 times before and selected the cruise on Pursuit as it went to Corsica and Sardinia 2 islands we had not been to. Lets start with the positives. This was our 5th Azamara cruise and we were eager to sample the latest acquisition Pursuit. Although we are not fans of the new modern decor, it was ok but a bit Ikea style. Embarkation: As someone in a wheelchair, we chose Azamara because they claimed they were accessible. When we arrived? No ramp, stairs. We really enjoyed our first cruise with Azamara but boy it sure has left a bad taste.
On returning home to Australia we checked our bank account and noticed an unauthorised deduction of over $400 AU dollars.
Numerous phone calls and promises to replace the money..that they admit should have never been taken from our account in the first place...we are still waiting.
