Never again on Azamara

Review for a Asia Cruise on Azamara Journey

After 7 previous cruise with Azamara this cruise was the straw that broke the camels back. The crew again were the highlight of the cruise. The entertainment was terrible or worse the on board lectures where boring how much do you need to know about Asia. The casino should be closed hardly any one playing. With a death and 4 broken arms and GI during the cruise more like a hospital ship than a ...

This was my first time on the Azamara. If your 50 to 75 years old (Maybe some 40 plus people??) and love being tempted with copious amounts of food and beverage then you are the target consumer. But you may be disappointed too. I know that some people complain about the limited music tastes available, and, generally, the dubious wine quality and this may well be true, but you can't please ...

My husband & I & our adult son have just returned from our, carefully researched and happily anticipated cruise around Indonesia. Our son has, well controlled & monitored, Bi Polar Disorder. Our staterooms were comfortable. The food was good quality in both the buffet & main dining room. the 'Brunch was a standout. Service there was very good. We also ate in Prime specialty restaurant & it ...

We chose the Aramara journey because we wanted a luxury holiday to celebrate our 70th birthday and we thought that Azamara would be a luxury trip. The prices are certainly luxury. The first disappointment was the cabin, especially the bathroom. My husband couldn't get in the shower and the cabin was very small. As it was a very rough crossing we had to spend a lot of time in the cabin. ...

Azamara sells their cruises to "destination" cruisers, yet they have the most incompetent shore excursions desk, worst tours and most expensive. their free shuttle to the city centre usually translates to 'designer mall' so if u r not into high end shopping, u need a tour. overpriced, eg Komodo Dragon tour $179 for I hr. of which we spent ten minutes taking pics of lethargic lizards. I suspect ...

Sailed for the 2nd time with Azamara, last year Azamara Journey Singapore to Mumbai. What a difference a year makes!. The staff were far less attentive, ( maybe they were tired) the food was not good at all. The MD was taking an age to get served, but then the food that was offered was very inferior. So called hot meals were hardly tepid, and soup was so cold it had grease floating on it. It was ...

Have just returned from asia with Quest. When we booked it was then advertised as 'Deluxe' cruising, how or why they think this is deluxe I do not know. I think from comments from others who had sailed with Azamara before the standard had 'slipped' and we were paying the price of their changes to 'club cruises'.The itinerary was good, the embarkation and disembarkation was the best we have ever ...
