This cruise line earns their kudos

Review for a Asia Cruise on Azamara Journey

I have cruised on much larger ships and one comparable luxury small ship and Azamara does a fine job, stem to stern. Their focus is on the guest always, doing their best to keep people happy and feel valued. At the end of our Azmazing evening in Bangkok, we returned to the ship by bus to a 7 piece band, heralding our return along with cold towels and beverages. Eric De Gray, the entertainment ...

Fabulous Fortnight small ship cruising SEAsia Rivers to Bangkok and Saigon

I chose this cruise for its unique itinerary cruising up the rivers to downtown Bangkok and Saigon. In addition this cruise spent a longer time in port, than most cruises - 2.1/2 days in Bangkok, 1.1/2 days in Saigon, 1.1/2 days in Ha Long Bay. It provided for a leisurely holiday. It was very user friendly for independent travel, with free shuttles provided in Bangkok, Saigon and Da Nang. ...

The highlights for me were the "White NIght" and the "Azamazing Evening" both of which were very well done and unique along with seeing the Komodo dragons in the wild and visiting Thursday Island. For a ship this size the entertainment was excellent; the cruise director Erik was always full of vitality and I am sure this influenced the other performers. The onboard lecturers were first class and I ...

First time on small/midsize ship! Loved no children policy met some wonderful people whom we hope to keep in contact. Food and restaurants faultless staff generally great some in windows cafe looked genuinely unhappy. Cabins great I'm 6'4 and had no issues with the bathroom. Lots of nice touches like cold towels and drinks getting off and on the ship. Bar staff very attentive and generous no penny ...

We just completed a 19 day cruise from Singapore to Sydney from February 1st to the 19th on the Azamara journey. WE LOVED IT!!!! The cruise had 680+ which was the perfect size to get to know people. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to serve. My wife and I renewed our vows for our 10th year anniversary and everyone helped as we added to the basic wedding with music and our own ...

A great cruise on a great ship

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Azamara Journey

We do not like the idea of a large cruise ship with lots of people so we chose the Azamara. The itinerary took us from Singapore to Sydney via Bali and Komodo and along the coast of Australia from Darwin. It was the right choice. From the moment we stepped aboard it felt like home. We had a stateroom with balcony on Deck 7. There was plenty of room, lots of space for clothes and the ...

Outstanding Cruise Let Down by Poor Pre-Cruise & Post Cruise Support

We were attracted by the fact that the ship takes only ca 700 passengers and can navigate into rivers and ports that the larger vessels cannot reach. The most outstanding aspect of this cruise was undoubtedly the crew who could not do enough for us. Dining was very good and the speciality restaurants excellent. The drinks package was very good and the wines well chosen with a choice of two ...

We have sailed on Journey a number of times and it gets a lot like home every time. I guess familiarity with the ship and many of the crew gives you a good feeling, and you get to feel even more welcome. Singapore was a one day experience but we have been there many times. Great city where everything just works like clockwork. Our boarding at Harbourfront went like a charm but it would be an ...

After a somewhat rocky experience a year ago on Azamara Quest out of Kyoto, we decided to give the line another try and signed up for the Singapore-Bangkok-Vietnam-Hong Kong cruise. Second time proved well worth while. Prior to the cruise we spent a week in Siem Reap, Cambodia, exploring the area. Well worth the time. After overnighting in Singapore, we headed to Bangkok. On this trip the city ...

We were warmly welcomed to the Journey and after such a long flight we were very happy to find the all the comforts of home and the pleasing improvements recently made to the staterooms. We settled in for our 13 day adventure and the first order of business was some rest. Unfortunately due to severe storms and flooding we were advised by Captain Magnus that were were not able to call out on ...
