We went on an Azamara cruise of the Mediterranean before Covid and really enjoyed it. However, we were very disappointed in the food on this cruise with the exception of the desserts - they were great! We fought with Azamara throughout the cruise trying to get credit for our full onboard credit. They did get it fixed in the end, but it was a major hassle.

I have never done AZAMARA before my best friends did and had a great time. I originally booked a greek cruise and was cancelled, no lift and shift then there was so this was the cheapest i could find.

We normally sail with Celebrity but had a tight timeline and wanted to see something new. Azamara was going somewhere we hadn't been and exactly on the day we needed to go, so we paid the much higher fare and expected a higher level of service than the normally very good service we have experienced on Celebrity.

Friends had been on Azamara and suggested we join them. We were happy woth the itinerary, the ship was very nice and there were 2 very special events.
I gave a lower score because the service was less than acceptable. It seemed that the wait staff was staffed with a majority of new employees. It was very obvious.

The Cruise was good, the ship is tired, the staff were great but they were no better than our experiences on Celebrity. In fact we felt the dining room staff on Celebrity were more attentive. Chose this cruise primarily for the itinerary, and it did not disappoint. Sailed from Rome and stopped at Sorrento, Amalfi, Taormina (Sicily), Mykonos, and Santorini before ending in Athens. So many choices for Sorrento and Amalfi.

Where do I start? How about at the airport where we were met and herded to a hallway location and left for an hour, only to be put on the wrong bus.
