Wonderful Itinerary

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

Although this was our 7th Azamara cruise, it was our first ever Mediterranean cruise. We chose this ‘Rome to Venice’ itinerary because it included the Amalfi Coast. As we had been to Rome before we stayed in Civitavecchia for 3 nights before the cruise, giving us two full days there. We spent a day wandering around the town, looking at the market and the harbour especially. We also spent a ...

Sixth Azamara cruise

We choose this cruise because of the intriguing itinerary and the opportunity to visit several Western Mediterranean islands for the first time. We flew in the day the cruise departed and took advantage of the Azamara provided shuttle service which worked very well. Embarkation went smoothly and we were on board, and lunching on the Sunset Deck a few hours after our touchdown. The itinerary was ...

Monte Carlo Grand Prix May 2018

We chose this cruise because of the Florence, Monte Carlo, and Barcelona destinations. The Monte Carlo Grand Prix was the main event. The ship as always was great....okay, showers are tight but I think everyone knows that before they board the ship.....get over it. The bottomline is the crew, the officers, and, even more importantly, the fellow passengers were wonderful. The officers were very ...

Great Ship + Great Crew = Great Cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. Sardinia and Corsica have been on my bucket list for a while. We travelled to Civitavecchia by car on the day of departure and were delivered right to the ship. Embarkation went very smoothly from there. Having tried other options in the past I'd highly recommend this approach. The ship isn't new but it is well cared for. It's smaller than ...

Seriously boring during long days in port if the weather is poor

Chose this cruise as a bucket list choice and to see the Classic Grand Prix. We were under the impression that the food on board was of the best - no better, in my opinion, than Celebrity or RCCL. Main bugbear was the lack of any sort of entertainment whilst in dock. At 9.30 am there was a quiz and about 5 p.m. there was another. That's IT. The biggest "show" at night had 2 male and 2 ...

OUR FOURTH CRUISE ON THE QUEST, THERE WILL NOT BE A FIFTH

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

We prior had cruises with the Quest, and had a desire to see a Grand Prix. But, Azamara is engaging in gouging their guests. The price of the Grand Prix excursion was $299.00 pp for two days admission. We had to walk to the event ourselves, and Azamara issued us tickets which showed a price of 66 euros ($66.00) This is ticket scalping. We complained onboard, and a month later(after research) ...

Ship great! Shore excursions not mobility friendly!

The ship is lovely and the stateroom staff was great. (Thank you Malik!) Entertainment was good and the food great. No need to pay extra for specialty dining.Food in the "regular" dining room was great. Shore excursion staff was not helpful at all. I do have mobility problems but have been able to do shore excursions on other cruises. When we asked for more information regarding the ports and ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and because it was semi all inclusive and it was on a small ship. We flew into Rome three days before the ship departed. We visited the Vatican Museum, St Pauls, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and went on a short night walk of Rome. Embarkation went very smoothly. We did not have to wait in a line. The ship is not ...

After reading reviews, and hearing from friends about Azamara, we booked a Mediterranean cruise. Beautiful ship, the food was great, everyone, including the captain, was happy and friendly. Our room and bathroom was small, but adequate, clean, and beautiful. The staff were, without fail, obviously well-trained, friendly, nice, and helpful. We loved the thought that went into the design of the ...
