Terrible Customer Service

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

The ship was very nice and the staff on board were fantastic. The pool was much too small for the number of people on the ship. The restaurants were all very good. Without the issue I am going to address I would have given a rating of 4.5 out of 5. My major complaint and what puts a very bad taste in my mouth for this cruise line is the customer service after the cruise. I paid $250.00 U.S. (I am ...

Disappointed

Second time travelling with Azamara (first since the takeover and what a difference between products. The crappy service started right from the arrival at Istanbul Airport. We had booked airport transfers through Azamara only to figure out for ourselves after waiting for an hour and numerous calls to their non existent ‘emergency’ help desk that they had not booked them so we had to catch a $70 ...

Great cruise but shore service is awful

Food was great as was our cabin. The team onboard were generally very good. Entertainment was great until the Cruise Directors would sing and then it was dire - but some people seemed to enjoy it. Dj Connor was brilliant and we were usually last to leave at night. Being able to enjoy dinner at the back of the ship and eat outdoors was a real plus and we toom advantage of that when we could. ...

Worst cruise line for the money

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

Chose this cruise for the dates, the itinerary and for the nice reviews our friend gave. However, I found the cruise to be lacking in several key areas. First, the ship was old and dated and desperately in need of refurbishment. Second, the food was beyond awful. Other than breakfast, totally inedible, There was to nights that my wife could only eat soup and breadsticks. The specialty restaurants ...

OUR FOURTH CRUISE ON THE QUEST, THERE WILL NOT BE A FIFTH

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

We prior had cruises with the Quest, and had a desire to see a Grand Prix. But, Azamara is engaging in gouging their guests. The price of the Grand Prix excursion was $299.00 pp for two days admission. We had to walk to the event ourselves, and Azamara issued us tickets which showed a price of 66 euros ($66.00) This is ticket scalping. We complained onboard, and a month later(after research) ...

Azamara not a luxury experience - Not worth the money

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Journey

Previously sailed on Azamara, in spite of last year's 'refurbishment' (all very surface) the ship is dated, cabins small, shower tiny, wait staff brusque, food just okay, not a luxury or sub-luxury experience. This ship is truly not worth the cost, Viking Ocean and Oceana are light years better in every way. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean are better for much less money. Cruise Director was ...

Rip Off - Imagine this is a luxury cruise which charges $29.95/day for Internet Additionally, they charge $30 for the Specialty Restaurant PER PERSON We have been on several luxury and non Luxury cruises and none charged for the specialty restaurants. We would definitely not recommend Azamara Cruise Lines to anyone. The only reason we chose Azamara Cruise Lines is because of the good ...

A great itinerary and cruise!

This was an outstanding cruise! We picked this cruise for 2 reasons: the itinerary and our previous pleasant experiences with Azamara. We were not disappointed. We were traveling with friends; this was their first cruise in many years. They were also very impressed and pleased. The refurbished Quest is gorgeous, particularly the re-purposed Living Room. I think it was our favorite place ...

This is the worst ship I've ever been on!

This was the Monaco Grand Prix cruise. We were planning to take SilverSea but their cruise was too long. The Quest was billed as a 5 star ship, so we had high, unfulfilled expectations. Not withstanding an alleged recent rehab, the ship looked old and run down. Our displeasure began with boarding when we were moved from pilar to post around the ship in Nice for health forms at one station, ...

Azamara, how disappointing.

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

I cannot put into words strongly enough what a disgraceful situation we had to endure for eight days, if you want to diet this is the cruise for you the food is terrible, if you want to be treated like a second class citizen and patronised cruise Azamara. When booking our cruise it was stated that suite quests could use the two speciality restaurants every night if they wish, this is totally ...
