Norway with Azamara simply the best!
"We did two, one was misdescribed and a disappointment in Oslo (the ship accepted there was an issue) and one was a very good cheese making experience in Amsterdam, an excursion I’d certainly recommend. We only found one thing the chef struggled to cook well - duck - in both the main dining room where it was tough and Prime C where it had fallen in the salt pot somewhere along the way, but all the other food was well cooked, especially the plaice and halibut in the main dining room...."Read More

Excellent Transatlantic Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Quest

Excellent cruise from Rio to Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is upscale-casual: Few men wore sport jackets at any time. Ship was about 3/4 full, with almost all passengers being in their fifties and up. There were no children. Large mix of nationalities (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.). It got a bit rocky towards the end of the cruise and the captain chose to skip the Madeira port of ...

Another superb cruise on the Azamara Quest, we were in a club continent suite this time as the bathroom in a veranda room is very small , our suite was very nice lots of storage and we were able to put the suitcases under the bed. The company has changed hands since our last voyage and it is noticeable in the cuts they are making considering the guests on board we’re 54% return cruisers they ...

We have cruised with Azamara several times in the past , and have always had a great experience ! And this , was no different ! This was a 9 night crossing from Lisbon to Bridgetown, Barbados , one stop in Madeira . From the outset , we received excellent service. We checked in leisurely at Lisbon, and boarded the ship in time for lunch. Staterooms were ready from about 1.30pm and our ...

Fantastic cruise in a beautiful ship with friendly, helpful crew and delicious food

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

I did a lot of research before booking this cruise. We went on a Silversea cruise last year - our first cruise - which was lovely but we decided to try another cruise line and after reading so many good reviews with comparisons made to Silversea we booked this one. I travel with my parents who are in their 80s, very sociable but my father has mobility issues. We took a lightweight travel ...

Amazing crew and beautiful ports

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Quest

We picked this cruise because of the itinerary. The ship is old but very beautiful, food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Every crew member did everything possible to make sure our experience was top rated. The ports of call were mostly interesting, especially Bordeaux, Bilbao (the Rioja region) Porto and Lisbon. We prefer the Azamara small ship experience due to the personal ...

Wonderful way to get a taste of Ireland

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Quest

We have always wanted to visit Ireland and it is not often that cruises around Ireland are offered. We spent a night in Dublin before boarding the ship in the afternoon. We were given a time slot as facilities for shelter at the port are limited in Dublin and it all worked smoothly. Boarding was quick and easy. After clearing docs at portside, we went to the show lounge to get pics taken and ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

We have sailed on a wide variety of cruises from a pricing perspective, with Azamara running towards the higher end. We chose this cruise based largely on its self-description as a port intensive, all inclusive journey. We found neither to be the case. Two of the ports were particularly disappointing. Invergordon, the port for Inverness, is a small town with very little going on, and is a 45 ...

Having cruised multiple times but never on an Azamara ship, I was anxious to experience what she had to offer. I chose the Quest for the itinerary around Scotland. Even with the residual covid problems, crew in masks etc., the ship was fantastic. I loved the smaller size of the ship, the upscale food and the way it was beautifully presented. Our captain was very friendly and often seen around ...

Wonderful Scotland Intensive

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Quest

Scotland intensive has been on our bucket list due to Scottish heritage on both of our sides of the family. We loved all of the ports except Invergorden, which was dismal and nothing much to see. The shore excursions were excellent, the dining (especially the two specialty restaurants) was fabulous, and we loved our suite. This was our first experience with Azamara and we've already booked ...
