Twilight Zone cruise!

Review for Azamara Pursuit to South America

We started our 21-day South American cruise on 2 March after spending a few days exploring Buenos Aires. We enjoyed the ports of Punta Del Este and Montevideo in Uruguay. Azamara is famous for their unique AzAmazing Evening Events. Ours was at the National Theatre of Uruguay, Teatro Solis where we witnessed a Carnival Gala. We also sailed to the ports of Ushuaia, Argentina, and Punta Arenas, ...

Excellent Food and Service on a Great Ship

Review for Azamara Pursuit to South America

We used Azamara for a South American cruise. The Pursuit is much smaller than the HAL ships we are used to but still had everything we wanted. The service was incredible, although that may have been partly because there were only about 500 passengers and capacity is 777 but there was still a full crew on board and so we got more attention than if it had been full. We thought the food was ...

Another brilliant cruise with Azamara

Review for Azamara Pursuit to Transatlantic

This was our 9th cruise with Azamara, but our first ever transatlantic and our first cruise on the Pursuit. We chose it because we love sea days, but it also had 6 ports of call, so a good combination. We had a couple of nights in Lisbon before the cruise and were really pleased that we had done so, there’s so much to see and do. We booked the Holiday Inn Express Avenida de Liberdade mainly ...

Decent cruise, lots of people got sick

We did both this cruise and the subsequent leg (Transatlantic in Cabin 4060. Positives --The ship is well laid out and easy to get around. --With the exception of the Officers' BBQ (come early!) and the White Night (come early!) it was easy enough to get a seat at any dining venue whenever you liked. --The crew was well trained, helpful, and seemed to enjoy their work. --The local ...

Well what does one say myself and my wife booked a Azamara cruise from Rome to Barcelona, from the embarkation to getting off at Barcelona we were treated just the best.. All I can say is if you are considering a cruise and is your first cruise , Azamara is or should be your first choice as you are 100% relaxed and looked after no ifs buts or maybe. Along with the White Night dinner and ...

Wonderful cruise, despite the protestors

Review for Azamara Pursuit to Europe - Western Mediterranean

Our holiday began with a ten minute taxi ride to London City Airport, the approach to which was lined with dozens of police guarding the airport against Extinction Rebellion climate change protestors, one of whom had climbed on to the top of a plane the previous day. Once inside the airport all was calm and we enjoyed our flight to Nice. We caught a local train to Monte Carlo and stayed overnight ...

This was our 5th cruise with Azamara and our first time on Pursuit since she was taken over by Azamara, we had sailed with her previously as P&O Adonia so it was interesting to see the refurbishment. Emarkation was not good; when we arrived at the port at the Trade Centre in Barcelona we were told we could board immediately however it was clear when we had gone through security we were going to ...

Pretty Good Cruise

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise which we choose on the basis of small ship and ports of call. This turned out to be the correct decision on both counts. We boarded the ship in Civitavecchia (17/7/19) and we were in our cabin within 15 minutes and the cases arrived soon after. Our cabin (7007) was adequate for our needs with sufficient storage. As others have highlighted the 'bathroom' is small ...

Review for Azamara Pursuit to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Chose the cruise based on the itinerary and comments from our cruise company that Azamara was really good! It was excellent! Smaller ship with 690 people and very much adult focused which we loved, room was great - bed super comfortable and kept neat and tidy and clean always. Common areas including The Living Riom and Thw Den we’re so inviting and warm. Really enjoyed them. Pool was perfect ...

The Best Cruise I Have Taken

Review for Azamara Pursuit to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

User Avatar

Over the years, I have been privileged to sail on forty cruises. These cruises were on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Disney, Holland America, Cunard, Princess, NCL and some other lines that don’t even exist any longer. Out of all of those cruises, Azamara was simply the best. I am confused as to the Azamara Pursuit’s low ratings and inconsistent reviews. I concluded that since I am moving ...
