This was the Monaco Grand Prix cruise. We were planning to take SilverSea but their cruise was too long. The Quest was billed as a 5 star ship, so we had high, unfulfilled expectations.

We chose this as our first ocean cruise because it took us to many places we had not seen before including Croatia. 35 days seemed a long time on boarding but it was so good the time flew. We enjoyed every port, every meal, and every moment.

This was actually a charter so different from anything on the Azamara offerings. 30 ports throughout both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.

This was our first Azamara cruise having sailed with both higher and lower grade ships. The first few days were dissapointing due to poor service --waiters seemed overwhelmed There was an outbreak of nova virus which did not help either.
