Standard veranda cabin with small bathroom (as they all are). But it is designed well, and my friend who traveled with me and I had no issues getting ready or navigating the space. This cabin is far forward (last one before crew quarters on deck 8), but I loved the location. Quiet and close access to the forward staircase. Read entire member review >>
As mentioned in review above my cabin was serviced twice daily to an exceptional standard (thank you again Hilda and Andre)
The bed was heavenly and the pillows, doona and linen all top quality. I don't know how often the bedding was changed but it was always immaculate.
The room was very comfortable with every amenity one could possibly need, loads of storage in the room and lots of shelving in the bathroom for all the cosmetics.
Balcony door was light and easy to open and balcony furniture and glass cleaned every day. Bar fridge replenished continually Read entire member review >>
We stayed in a veranda stateroom (7030) and liked the new headboard, linens and soft furnishings, but the rest felt 'same old'. If Azamara is to stay competitive, they need to go further and upgrade the cabinetry as well, but most of all, perhaps sacrifice a few staterooms in order to provide better bathrooms that allow you to turn around whilst you shower and to include tubs and better finishes. For the price of Azamara cruise, other companies in the similar category offer newer and larger spaces, which I think is a must for a cruise of this length. Read entire member review >>
Cabin rather small for a 6-star ship but otherwise very clean. Bathroom was very small and uncomfortable to use. No loungers on balcony - just small table and two chairs.
Attendants were good and thorough at cleaning. Read entire member review >>
A balcony cabin is always a treat, especially on a cruise like this where you are close to land so much. It was well laid out with all the amenities you could want. Room attendants were courteous and extremely profficent. Read entire member review >>
We stayed in a verandah stateroom. The stateroom attendants made up the room almost as soon as you left it. There was adequate storage and the room was well laid out.
Bathrooms are small, however they are serviceable. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was average size for a balcony room. I liked the lighting in the closet. I would have liked a glass door on the shower instead of a curtain, however with the size of the room this might be impossible. Read entire member review >>
This is a new cabin, previous a crew one (the Cruise director's) they have cut a new hole in the side fof a balcony and after they had fitted the missing light, wired in the fridge and finished installing the shelves it was fine. Not the largest on the high seas, particularly the shower / WC which does seem small compared to those on Celebrity. This is presumably a reflection of both the age of the ship and it's overall size.
The bed was really comfy and the furniture on the balcony much better quality than we normal. Read entire member review >>
Old desk with door falling off hinges, along with new wallpaper, carpeting and new lighting. Old closers. Updated bathroom, without a clothesline to dry things on. Dirty balcony, with uncomfortable chairs. New bed very firm! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great. It was very quiet. Plenty of storage. Shower is SMALL, but adequate. Bed could have used a new topper when used as a queen bed to keep the ridge from being uncomfortable between the twin beds. Read entire member review >>
Standard veranda cabin. Location fine (although being starboard we seemed to be docked on the wrong side a lot - luck of the draw). Air conditioning was not effective but this was true throughout much of the ship in hotter weather. Read entire member review >>
We were in the middle of the ship on the 7th floor. Picked this floor because there are only staterooms above and below. Cabins are fairly small, but big enough for us. Bathrooms small, but not a problem - although we would have liked larger. Good storage space. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was 7076, directly across from the Laundry Room. We were a little concerned about noise from the laundry room but that turned out to not be a problem. The cabin was small but had a nice size sitting area and balcony and was only a short walk from the elevators. Read entire member review >>
