All category 08 staterooms feature a picture window providing natural light, some with sofa bed, two lower beds convertible to queen size, flat-screen TV, refrigerator with mini-bar, thermostat-controller air conditioner, phone, desk, safe, dryer
Some categories may have obstructed view.
The cabin is located between life boats so we had a complete view of the ocean/shorelines. However it was turned crosswise which caused the door to swing open into the bed, and therefore the floor space was quite limited for other furniture. The small desktop was useless as it was occupied by an unnecessary phone (could have been hung on the wall next to mirror), a bowl of fruit with plate/flatware, a bowl of flowers rather than a slender vase, the ice bucket/tray/glassware and the much necessary bottles of water. There was barely space to lay the electronic items while they were plugged in for charging! It was nice that they had 4 outlets, 2 110 and 2 240 which we could use adapters with. Upon initial arrival it looked like we'd be leaving everything in the suitcases, but once we started unpacking we discovered that between the 4 closet drawers, the 4 desk drawers and 2 shelves, and the two nightstands, we were able to totally empty the cases and stow them under the beds. But if you are claustrophobic I suggest you get a larger cabin! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was smaller than we have ben used to on other cruise lines, but was in a great location on the ship, and was beautifully decorated, with great touches like lighting in the wardrobes and a complimentary minibar. The bathroom was tiny, but overall the cabin was great.
I have to say that although we knew that we were in a restricted view cabin, I was surprised that right outside the window was a lifeboat, which meant that to see outside we had to peer through the lifeboat windows! Read entire member review >>
Cabin smaller than anticipated but fine for a solo traveler. had been informed at booking that I would have a partially obstructed view but in fact my view was completely obstructed by a life boat. Sea and sky only just visible from the window at various awkward positions. cabin dark most of the time.
There was a very malodorous smell in the bathroom which didn't get resolved before i left although despite the efforts of the crew and officers. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was too small for us. Most people would find it acceptable but we needed more space and were unhappy with this one. The bathroom was tiny and some of the shelves were directly above the toilet, had to be careful to close the lid or risk dropping things into the toilet. Shower was so small the curtain was always brushing into me. Read entire member review >>
The cabin itself is a little small but you don't really spend a lot of time in it. We did pick a cabin with obstructed view but the view was still pretty good. We had a straight view to the outside and the obstruction was mainly to the side. We didn't hear much noise from outside the cabin, except the one day we tendered, but it didn't bother me. Small but adequate , even for two. Could not see much out of the window due to the lifeboat being there.
Beds comfy; Adequate closets and drawers for us.
Safe was finicky as was clock.
Mid ship so never rocky Read entire member review >>
We were upgraded from an inside to an obstructed Ocean view cabin.
The cabin was good apart from the shower area which was very small.
The cabin attendants were always professional, friendly and hardworking leaving the cabin spotless! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was a cabin with obstructed view and without a balcony but we knew that up front. Actually the room is very small, the bathroom is extremely small but we had fun and it was like a cosy caravan. We did not miss our balcony a lot so no complains about the room. But for the same price you have a room which is 2x the size of the Azamara stateroom.... Read entire member review >>
Cabin 6044. An obstructed view cabin, it sits transversely. A beautiful cabin. All cabins on Azamara and other R ships are small compared to bigger cruise ships. The cabin is beautiful in all respects however. It does not have room for a couch as other cabins do, but has a lot of floor space. Bathroom is quite small by other ship standards, but functional in all respects. Although tender is outside room, did not hear them lowering it in the tender port! Read entire member review >>
