We had a Club Ocean Suite, 7004 which had a forward facing balcony. The suite was a very good design with a decent bedroom and large lounge area together with a large bathroom with separate toilet. Most of the bathrooms on board the old Renaissance ships are very small but the Suites have a full size bathroom with a tub and a large shower enclosure. The shower had a glass door unlike the smaller bathrooms which only have a shower curtain. We felt that the sun beds on the balcony were very good but too large for the space which made hosting sail away drinks on the balcony a little cramped. There are a few things that Azamara should look into, the first is the bed in suite 7004 is not a (US standard) KING size as advertized being only 5 ft 6 inches wide and not the full 6 feet. There is room for a larger bed and one of the attractions of booking the suite was the promise of a King bed. The sofa in the living room could be replaced with a sofa bed to accommodate a third guest. There is ample space and because the facility was not available on this ship, my twin sister had to pay a full 100% single supplement for a nearby cabin to accompany us. On other cruise ships she has shared our suite quite comfortably. An extremely comfortable bed with fine linens, duvet & pillows. Ample storage. The wardrobe had a low rail which did not accomodate long dresses. Read Less

Nice refurbished some noise from above and in very rough seas you do get motion. Location in between stairs and elevators.

What is great is that every time we cruise we choose the same stateroom category and when we move in we know where everything goes - unpacking is so quick and we've settled in before boat drill.

Our cabin, 7005, was perched above the ship’s forward deck, affording a great view of the ship’s progress. If you want to keep your finger on the pulse of the ship when getting to port, this is the place. You are viscerally aware when they drop anchor or fire-off the bow thrusters. It’s as if the entire cabin has a Magic Fingers® machine, and someone’s dropped in a quarter. The suite has a sitting room, separate sleeping area, a full bathroom and a separate powder room. The cabin is furnished with a small dining table with four chairs, a coffee table surrounded by a sofa and a couple of chairs, and a credenza. The credenza has with a small ice bucket and glasses, a tray with four complimentary bottles of liquor: 375 ml of Johnnie Walker Red, rum, vodka, and a larger bottle of gin. There’s a small refrigerator in the credenza stocked with sodas and wine. The sodas are free; the wines are not. Read Less

7005 is a great, large 1 BR, 1.5 BA cabin, with tons of storage space, two flat screen TV's and a DVD player. There are plenty of 110v and 220v outlets, and the large forward facing balocony is great for sail-out and port days, but can be windy on rough sea days. The suites are now being furnished with complimentary 375 ml bottles of gin, vodka, rum, and scotch (all top brands) and the mini-bar is stocked with complimentary soda and bottled water. Our butler was also happy to bring a bottle of wine to us each day from the included selections at lunch or dinner, but we asked for this (and our wish was granted). Read Less
