Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

We chose this cruise as it was a smaller ship. We found it much more intimate, no queues and everybody was so friendly. The ship holds 700 passengers but there were only 400 on board. The negatives are the swimming pool was small which if the ship had full capacity this could be a problem. Even though the interior of the ship had been re-furnished they had not done the staterooms. The ...

First time on Azamara. Enjoying the smaller ship (700 passengers). Nicely refurbished. Cabin corridor however, seems under lit to me. Free Launderette on Deck 7 (mid ship) Washer, Dryer and Soap. Opened 8am to 9pm. Staff have been remarkably polite and attentive. Gold star. Food in the 2 speciality (extra fee) restaurants (Prime C - Steakhouse) and (Aqualina - ...

This was our first Azamara cruise, having sailed before mainly with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. We were expecting it to be a step up from the other lines but we found it wasn’t. The Officers and staff we found to be very friendly. Training of staff in some areas was certainly lacking. You wouldn’t expect a waiter to need a table plan to take you to your table and still get it ...

We went on this Greek cruise with 2 other couples. One couple was happy with Azmara Persuit; my husband and I as well as the remaining couple were disappointed. I know this ship was recently refurbished and the first voyage since that refurbishment was in August. My review is my effort to give them constructive criticism. The cruise line identifies their product as a luxury brand.... not so I ...

Azamara but Not 6-star

We chose this cruise because we were asked to cancel a previous cruise with Oceania which was over-booked! We had a problem finding a cruise at such a late date. We thought that Azamara would be a good bet as it is supposed to be a 6-star cruise ship, having previously been on Oceania and Seabourn we had great hopes but unfortunately were were disappointed. The stateroom and especially the ...

This was my third and last cruise (12 Night Best of the Holy Land) aboard the Journey. The ship is in desperate need of a serious makeover not just refreshing cosmetics. The staff was as friendly as ever. The quality and choices of food one expects from a cruise line that aspires to luxury branding was lacking. Even visits to the specialty restaurants fell short. Tour guides did not seem to be ...

Ship much older than one would think. Interior tries to intimidate the luxury of by gone days. 1). RECEPTION Check in at port excellent and quick. At reception it stated that the ship was full and no cabins were available to be changed. This was totally untrue. Upon reaching our cabin which was to be shared by two ladies we found it to be extremely small and dark and in no way suitable ...

We have been on over 15 10-14 day cruises on Celebrity and a few on Prncess- the big and mid size ships and enjoyed them immensely. When we met other cruisers on these cruises they as well as our travel agent raved about Azumara. When we found a back to back itinerary we liked 18 months ago we booked the Azamara cruises. Due to the number of cruises on Celebrity we were at a high tier in the ...

This was our first cruise with Azamara. We wanted the smaller ship experience and have to admit we liked it. We chose this cruise for the itinerary and a special price - double upgrade to a verandah cabin. The ship was nice, clean and fortunately well functioning. (We had heard stories of plumbing problems.) The staff was generally friendly and the food was good. The food and service were ...
