This was our second Azamara cruise and it was wonderful. This was a transatlantic cruise and we encountered some rough water. Nobody’s fault. We still had a fantastic time! Having been on large and river boat previous cruises we decided to opt for a medium size line and Azamara Onward fitted the bill.

As embarkation goes, it has to be the worst in all my years cruising. There were only 550 odd of us but it over 2 hours in makeshift tents, fighting for seats, coffee and biscuits ran out and after we got on and did the mandatory safety briefing - the buffet had closed.

A very nice cruise. I was surprised that the entertainment was very good. 6 young people, the cruise director and assistant cruise director. The cruise director, Eric, has an extensive resume. Just returning from Iceland intensive cruise and were very pleased with the trip.
All of the Azamara ships are old but they are well maintained. I am sure if you looked for it you could spot areas which could be improved but we don’t approach a holiday in that way and didn’t see anything we were unhappy about.
