This was my 25th cruise and my first on Azamara. My husband surprised me at Christmas with this cruise, 7 Day Spain Intensive from Barcelona, Spain to Lisbon Portugal. We chose this cruise as the itinerary included a stop close to Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix. The original itinerary was mooring at nearby Villefranche sur Mer but this was changed to Monaco where we tendered ashore for the race.
We had a balcony cabin which was nicely furnished and had UBS ports.

We booked this crossing as we were headed back to the States after a long holiday in Europe and the departure and arrival ports fit our plans. This was our 35th cruise and our 5th time on Azamara.

Positives
--The ship is well laid out and easy to get around.
--With the exception of the Officers' BBQ (come early!) and the White Night (come early!) it was easy enough to get a seat at any dining venue whenever you liked.

Several of the destinations were new to us and the overnight in Florence, Italy - we spent the night I the city due to the distance to the port - and ending up in Rome where we last had been in 1996.
