Long time cruiser but first with Azamara.
The ship was undergoing an annual Coast Guard Inspection so we were delayed embarkation until 12:30. We arrived at that time and our wait was 15 minutes. Check in went smoothly. We sailed on Journey for 10 nights beginning March 16, 2016. We were notified in advance that due to an inspection by the Coast Guard, boarding would begin at 12:30 with sailing at 5 PM.

We just returned from an 11 day cruise on the Azamara Journey. The ship had come out of dry dock prematurely. The company allegedly allowed only 2 weeks to do a complete overhaul. There were weather issues and allegedly supplier problems. We waited 5 hours at the terminal for " polishing" We finally got to our cabin only to find varnish fumes, wet varnish, no rod in the closet, tv not working and ...
