While we enjoyed most ports and enjoyed our vacation, we were overall disappointed with how Azamara has changed. The biggest disappointment was with the quality of the food in the main restaurant (Discoveries). We've taken many cruises (and 3 others with Azamara) and can easily say this was the worst food we've experienced on any of them.

We chose this cruise as it was a smaller ship. We found it much more intimate, no queues and everybody was so friendly. The ship holds 700 passengers but there were only 400 on board.
The negatives are the swimming pool was small which if the ship had full capacity this could be a problem. Even though the interior of the ship had been re-furnished they had not done the staterooms. The ...

First time on Azamara.
Enjoying the smaller ship (700 passengers).
Nicely refurbished.
Cabin corridor however, seems under lit to me.
Free Launderette on Deck 7 (mid ship)
Washer, Dryer and Soap. Opened 8am to 9pm.
Staff have been remarkably polite and attentive.

We selected this cruise because of its terrific itinerary. The ship in fact was only at sea for one night out of the eleven. Highlights were the evening at Ephesus arranged by Azamara, sailing into Santorini and Kotor, and the port of Dubrovnik.
