Azamara Journey goes above and beyond most cruise ships. The staff are so friendly - We love all the question and answer periods with all the officers from the captain down. To judge by the number of B2B travellers from the previous cruise, many of the Azamara family had been eagerly awaiting this first journey to Sydney round the West Australian coast. Two nights in Hong Kong's Marco Polo Hotel and two nights at the end in Singapore's Hotel Jen finished off our first Azamara cruise beautifully.
Boarding was a breeze but the roll call for the drill after embarking was a total shambles. Due to this fiasco we did not make it to the cruise critic get together.

I chose this cruise for its unique itinerary cruising up the rivers to downtown Bangkok and Saigon. In addition this cruise spent a longer time in port, than most cruises - 2.1/2 days in Bangkok, 1.1/2 days in Saigon, 1.1/2 days in Ha Long Bay. It provided for a leisurely holiday.
