Great ship and really helpful team on board. Our room stewards introduced themselves and kept ours rooms in tip-top shape throughout. As we met each member of the crew they were all bright and smiling, always willing to help. We explored the ship and gradually found the many different lounges. The food was of a high standard throughout our cruise. We found it ideal to have resort casual ...

We really enjoy traveling with Azamara Club Cruises. To date I have been on 4 cruises on the Quest from Istanbul all around the Med to Barcelona. Barcelona to London, London to Stockholm through the Baltic. This cruise I wanted to see Asia and they had a trip on the Journey. Since my last trip both Azamara ships have been refurbished with updated rooms and public areas. I was on a trip to Norway ...

Our most recent journey took us on the Journey on what was supposed to be a luxury cruise from Singapore, through Thailand, Vietnam, and ending in Hong Kong. Our flight arrived late the night before, so we only had half a day to explore Singapore before boarding the ship later that day. We have been to Singapore many times before, so a short stay was adequate. I will say that if you have not been ...

We did this cruise as we wanted to travel in a smaller passenger cruise ship as we had previously been on larger ships and then travelled with Silver Sea for 5 voyages and had heard from friends that this was a good line to try. Overall, we felt the service was excellent and the staff excellent. However we had one hiccup with the account at the end of the cruise and I had paid the account in ...

We chose the Aramara journey because we wanted a luxury holiday to celebrate our 70th birthday and we thought that Azamara would be a luxury trip. The prices are certainly luxury. The first disappointment was the cabin, especially the bathroom. My husband couldn't get in the shower and the cabin was very small. As it was a very rough crossing we had to spend a lot of time in the cabin. ...

We choose this cruise for the departure point (Chennai) and the nights in Yangon, Myanmar. The of the ports we have seen previously but happy to enjoy again. We spent three nights precruise in Chennai and spent the days doing walking and cooking tours thru Storytrails - highly reccomended. Embarkation was easy - handled thru Crown Plaza as the Port Terminal still not complete. Port ...

It was for us the Fourth time on Azamara (AZ). The service on Azamara is excellent, friendly, and personal. We were well taken care of.The smaller cruise ships do not feel crowded and getting seats in the bar or around the pool is never a problem. The food was very good. We had a good time, highly enhanced by a group of extremely friendly passengers. We did not eat in any of the specialty ...

Journey on the Spice Route

We chose to sail this voyage for several reasons . One was price /cost as our travel agent had combined it with a Golden Triangle tour in India prior to boarding in Chennai . Two was the opportunity to sail from the East coast as we had already sailed the West coast previously . Three it had been nearly 5 years since we last sailed with Azamara and wished to renew our acquaintance ...

Spice Route II Review - Chennai, India to Singapore

Review for a Asia Cruise on Azamara Journey

I chose the Spice Route II from India to Singapore, via Andaman Islands, Burma, Thailand, and Malaysia, because this cruise offered, at least for me, rather exotic, unusual ports of Chennai (Madras), Port Blair, Yangon, Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand, George Town, Penang, Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. I was also traveling solo, and Azamara had a solo traveler special for this particular ...
