Had 7-previous AVALON river cruises. They lost my wife's suitcase for FOUR DAYS on their transfer from Paris to Saint Malo. On 2nd day, the tour guide told us they had video of the suitcase being loaded on the bus in Paris and it was probably stolen. This was our first river cruise after five ocean cruises on Disney ships. We chose the Seine because friends reported a wonderful experience on another line, and we chose Avalon because of the Tapestry II design, the price of the cruise, and the add-on for Mont St. Michele, St. Malo, and Chartres that would significantly check off our "must-sees" for our first trip to France.
