Beautiful room with plenty of under-bed space, closet, and hangers for clothing. We also really enjoyed the L'Occitane bath essentials in real sizes, not the tiny minis that most hotels provide. Enjoyed renting a movie onboard one afternoon too. We slept with the sliding door open on many nights to enjoy the sounds of the evening and light lapping of water. The only thing I would change is to have light sheet and blanket in-room in case you wanted to go without the comforter. It was sometimes too warm, and we didn't realize we could change to light sheet/blanket until half-way into the cruise. Read Less

All around wonderful : Cabin 207
This was an older ship but still intact, clean, well-maintained, and did I mention clean. Bedding has improved since my last cruise to mattress toppers and duvet arrangement.

The cabin we occupied is well designed. There is plenty of storage for two people. When we would open the sliding door on the balcony, despite that it added no actual space, it gave such an illusion. The bathroom is small, however bigger than one we had in a hotel in Paris; actually The stateroom and bathroom was much bigger than that hotel room and bathroom. It was well equipped with soaps, lotions, towels and, though in Europe, face cloths. The best feature, though, was our steward. Upon our return from breakfast our room was made up. Upon our return from dinner the bed was turned down. The room was kept clean and tidy at all times, except when we were in it. We were the closest to the engines. However, that was no problem as they were not that noisy; in fact the drone of the engines helped us nod off to sleep. Read Less

Our cabin was very clean, lots of storage space, sliding glass doors that we could open to enjoy the river even more and the bathroom was stocked with ample supplies of very nice shower/pesonnal effects. We got a kick out of having a 'fire' in the 'fireplace' every night when we came back (the TV monitor had this soothing video...nice touch). AND the room was cleaned twice/day...better than home!!!
