Disappointing

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Grand Princess

Compared to previous Princess cruises, this was definitely a step down in service, food, entertainment. The ambiance of cruising was not there. No dress code for the MDR. Food service slow… MDR was akin to eating at the local diner. The staff did not make the experience ‘special’. Limited engagement with the waitstaff..more of a serve and get it over with vibe. Orders were sometimes ...

Norwegian Spirit March 2024

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

I was nervous that the Norwegian Spirit wouldn’t be as nice an experience as Celebrity’s Equinox but it actually exceeded my expectations. Wonderful staff and service. Excellent food. Lots of fun entertainment and activities offered. Great basic drink package that included everything from martinis to Irish coffee, pina coladas and Coronas. The ship was smaller than the Equinox but nicely updated ...

What’s Happened to the Royal Caribbean Brand?

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

On boarding the ship my wife and I were shocked to find our cabin would only be serviced once a day. This was not a cheap cruise particularly when paying in Aussie $. Royal Caribbean left this to the cabin steward to try and explain. Very poor effort on behalf of the management team to leave this to the cabin attendant. Surely a cabin cleaned twice a day provides a much more healthier environment ...

Never sail with Royal Caribbean again!

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This Cruise was over priced and it absolutely under delivered, consequently we will never be sailing with Royal Caribbean again. As we have cruised with them on a number of occasions previously, we feel that the criticisms listed below are completely justified. The entertainment was extremely poor, (and that is being generous) nowhere near the standard of previous cruises we’ve ...

Nice ship, a bit dated

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Grand Princess

This is our 4th time on Grand Princess, and it is still a very nice ship, in spite of being their oldest. The Princess food experience remains very good, but they slip up in a few areas that would not have happened 5 years ago. Having also cruised with P&O and Cunard in the last 2 years, Princess are way ahead. Our cabin has the usual issues of an older ship, very poor ergonomics, and very ...

Fabulous Disney Experience Down Under

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Disney Wonder

Travelling as a family group with my 3 year old grandson, this Disney cruise was my first experience on a cruise. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the ship. It is absolutely spotless. The crew, from stewards, room attendants, restaurant attendants to maintenance staff they were all extremely attentive and made the cruise about you. Rooms were spotless and very well ...

Chose this cruise to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We are seasoned cruisers but first timers on a Disney ship. Positives - Best productions shows at sea. All 3 were fantastic especially the "Frozen" show. - Rotational Dining at all 3 restaurants were great. Excellent service provided by our servers from Indonesia, Raka & Angoro. Great selection of food which was well ...

Crew is amazing!

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

User Avatar

The crew have been handpicked for the ultimate world cruise and it shows. They are bending over backwards to bring unique experiences, cultural shows, destination briefings, etc. The company has created some frustrations through inconsistent policies towards people doing same types of sailings (ex, offering discounts to those paying in advanced but not applying this equally to clients), and on ...

FIRST AND LAST CRUISE - FIJI & NEW CALEDONIA 2024

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Grand Princess

User Avatar

First Time Cruiser • Age 30s

This was the worst travel experience of my life. It was our first time on a cruise and certainly the last with Grand Princess. This cruise is suitable for 60 year olds and above only. The cruise itself is extremely outdated! I wouldn’t even say it could pass as a family cruise. 1 of the 3 stops they made over the 2 weeks was an industrial area. We even did a tour and didn’t even see much at all. ...
