Compared to previous Princess cruises, this was definitely a step down in service, food, entertainment. The ambiance of cruising was not there. No dress code for the MDR. Food service slow… MDR was akin to eating at the local diner.

On boarding the ship my wife and I were shocked to find our cabin would only be serviced once a day. This was not a cheap cruise particularly when paying in Aussie $. Royal Caribbean left this to the cabin steward to try and explain. Very poor effort on behalf of the management team to leave this to the cabin attendant. Surely a cabin cleaned twice a day provides a much more healthier environment ...

The Princess food experience remains very good, but they slip up in a few areas that would not have happened 5 years ago. Travelling as a family group with my 3 year old grandson, this Disney cruise was my first experience on a cruise.
The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the ship. It is absolutely spotless.
