To be honest, we chose this ship for the price of the cruise (circumnavigating NZ) and the beautiful decor shown in photos. We were not disappointed! The decor is top quality - everything on the ship is the very best. Chose a 3 day cruise as it is my first time. Really enjoyed it. The entertainment was superb. Just wanted a short trip to revitalise ourselves and it was perfect. Fabulously friendly staff who were a lot of fun. Highly recommended. Food was beautiful. Next time we'd try the restaurants as well. Pools were clean. First ever cruise with princess line, all I can say is that we were very disappointed from start to finish.
The list is to long for me to write about, it started from getting on the boat until we disembarked.

Had a great time on this cruise. Ship facilities and balcony room were great. Food and shows really good. Staff polite and efficient in the main. They were helpful and friendly in the main. Found the cruise relaxing staff were very helpful. Didn't enjoy the meals tried twice in the restaurant on Deck 3 or 4. Because we don;t consume alcohol and don't put on airs down to earth couple didn't really feel welcomed there. After that experience used the Ocienveiw Cafe for all our meals and the Mast Grille nice presented food.

This is not a luxury five star ship whatever the travel agents claim, not now. It was back in 2008 when it was launched, but its been worked hard since then. Its evident when you embark through its nice white hull and enter its interior that its tired and overdue for a refit. This is my second cruise with hubby (both 50 yr olds) and our first one was on Solstice also 2 years ago. Our first cruise was perfect and so it was inevitable that we would be comparing both cruises and that the second one wouldn't be as good as the first.
Celebrity have the embarkation/disembarkation process down pat and we can't fault them on that at all. Even at Princess Wharf Auckland ...
