Excellent Way to Experience New Zealand and Australia

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

This is our fifth NCL cruise. We keep coming back because the relaxed experience on the ship and flexible dining suit us. The itinerary from Auckland, New Zealand to Syndey, Australia was what drew us to this cruise. The ship only had 1,600 passengers (double occupancy is 2,050), so the Garden Cafe and Stardust Theater were rarely busy/filled. Note, though it was school holidays here, because ...

A wonderful cruise

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Coral Princess

I love the Pacific Ocean, the islands and the Pacific People. I like a lot of sea days as shore visits take a toll of my damaged feet. I'm a loyal Princess cruiser and also have been on the Coral Princess before and love the smaller ship with the amazing quirky decor. In terms of the staff - they were all so lovely and friendly. I've added a photo to show that we are not the average couple, ...

A Holiday away from the “holidays”

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

We had sailed on Seabourn 10 years ago to the Mediterranean and this time from Auckland to Sydney with stops on the east coast of New Zealand and the south of Australia. We wanted to escape the frenzied holidays at home and found on this cruise a delightful Christmas with caroling and Santa arriving by Zodiac to dancing on the pool deck for a fun New Year’s Eve with everyone from the ship in ...

Chose a 3 day cruise as it is my first time. Really enjoyed it. The entertainment was superb. Just wanted a short trip to revitalise ourselves and it was perfect. Fabulously friendly staff who were a lot of fun. Highly recommended. Food was beautiful. Next time we'd try the restaurants as well. Pools were clean. Rooms cleaned, beds turned back curtains closed every day. Free pizza fries ice creams ...

It was a wonderful cruise, we visited some remote islands which we found very interesting, the lectures were informative relating to the region. The food at all of the restaurants was very good with a good variety, the wines were of excellent quality and we particularly like the caviar service which was available 24/7! The premium restaurant was very good, no cover charge, was an added bonus, ...

Regent Seven Seas: Always a Lovely Experience

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We chose this cruise, as we usually do, based on itinerary. We experienced an incredible bonus on the first “leg” (Auckland to Bali). It was an “Artful Travelers” cruise. This group, in cooperation with Regent and PBS and NPR, had a special program focusing on documentary film making and Broadway. There were extra speakers (all excellent), Q & A sessions, cocktail parties, special documentary ...

This is my 3rd Regent cruise and if I was wealthy it would be only cruise line for me. Top notch from beginning to end. Sad to disembark. Good waa invredible and staff is unbelievable. Suites are spacious and all have balconies. Specialty restaurants have some of the best options but Compass Tose is no slouch. Every night the menu changes and there is always some to choose from. If not the go to ...

Short cruise in luxury

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

Background and Hotel information This cruise was rather a short one for us. We received an email from a travel agent with a fantastic sampler package flight to Auckland, transfers from airport and to port, a two-night stay at the Sofitel, then embarking the Regent Seven Seas Voyager on day three. In our opinion this package was relatively good value and an opportunity to experience a 5 plus ...

We love regent and as usual this was a great cruise. Loved the itinerary. Pre and post cruise was very good. As always, the food and service were great. Voyager was refurbished over a year ago but was still beautiful. The staff and crew were so friendly, it is like coming home when we get onboard. We booked a basic veranda cabin and it was very roomy and comfortable. The entertainment staff ...

The Coral Sea Crossing on Oceania's Regatta was great!

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Regatta

We have sailed with Oceania before, but this was our first time on their Regatta ship. We chose this cruise because of its itinerary which included ports of call in New Zealand, the west coast of Australia, Komodo Island, and ended in Bali. Most of the other cruise lines visit just the ports in New Zealand and Sydney resulting in a shorter cruise. Oceania's 24 day cruise was worth our while to ...
