This is only the sixth cruise of my lifetime (on five different lines) and it was easily the best of the lot - to say nothing of the tremendous value it represented versus Regent et al. Even if all six cruises had identical prices, this cruise would have earned first place by a wide margin.

Overall the cruise was ok, it was a Christmas holiday cruise. The service was poor, the food was of a poor quality with the same items repeated every few days. I was very dissapointed in our cabin. Firstly theres no excuse for filth. My sheer nylon curtains were absolutely filthy and asked them to be removed and cleaned. Secondly we couldn't and i mean couldn't open the door to the balcony, so much so they had to take it off in Bay of Islands and put new rollers on. Have always wanted to visit Australia & New Zealand even though a very long plane trip. Decided to do it while we could and it did not disappoint.
