Mediocre food. They have great sounding creative menus, seemingly quality ingredients, then ruin it with poor execution. Watery pasta dishes, overcooked meats, limp crusted pizza, hot food served cold or lukewarm, etc. Almost laughable at every meal. The hamburgers on the pool deck were really good, though.

We chose this cruise for the port of call at Komodo Island. Our boarding experience was good, cabin (ocean view) was larger than most modern cruise ships but in a very poor state of repair. This is the 4th P&O cruise husband and I have been on, and each time the standards have slipped. The first cruise was the final cruise for Pacific Sky, a far superior passenger experience – then the last 3 cruises over almost 3 years. This review is based on a cruise out of Auckland, where the ship is marketed as P&O's newest addition and a NZ based ship, New Zealand's first Super-liner no less! However the ship is Australian ( bar the London registration), from currency to pub quiz questions.
