The ship is not up to the standards one expects from a modern cruise liner, the ship is old at 10years & tired. It is the only cruise line where you have to submit credit card details per passenger in order to get a boarding card they took the equivalent of 900$ from each of our accounts & that was before we had even stepped a foot outside the UK, Boarding was a farce, queuing up in an old ...

Mediocre food. They have great sounding creative menus, seemingly quality ingredients, then ruin it with poor execution. Watery pasta dishes, overcooked meats, limp crusted pizza, hot food served cold or lukewarm, etc. Almost laughable at every meal. The hamburgers on the pool deck were really good, though. A dearth of entertainment options. Shows were boring and uninspired. Piano bar ...

We chose this cruise for the port of call at Komodo Island. Our boarding experience was good, cabin (ocean view) was larger than most modern cruise ships but in a very poor state of repair. The floor gave underneath you when you walked near dressing table and had a large nail/screw sticking out of the carpet. These concerns were addressed to a certain extent but as this was the last cruise for the ...

I took this Cruise as a gift to my Mum on her 70th birthday and also because I had been on the same ship back in 2013. I was very disappointed with the entire cruise the food was sub standard along with the entertainment, but the issue that I was most concerned about was i paid 3000 for the cruise and the behaviour and standard of the people on the boat was disgusting. It appears they dropped the ...

This ship has seen better days. P&O service and food is slipping way below par. I have 6 cruises on the pearl and the last 2 I hated. unfortunately as we had all ready booked to go on little food and wine cruise 4 weeks later we could not cancel as would lose everything. Only thing in its favour it was only 3 night this time. We could not wait to get off. First thing we had when off was a ...

We chose this cruise as it was going to Fiji, Tonga and the Cook Islands with which we had not been to before. We did a Pacific Sun cruise 6 years ago and could not fault it. well our cabin had no air conditioning so was sleeping with wet towels over me so I could get some sleep, no one seemed to concerned when we complained time and time again. We could not complain about the service we got ...

My partner and I love to cruise. We have travelled on most Cruise Lines at many locations all around the world. I have been in a wheelchair for 11 years. I tried cruising for the first time just over one year after becoming a quadriplegic in 2006 and after that I was bit by the bug :). It is so much easier for my companion to pack and unpack once, as I require a lot of accessories for day to day ...

Pacific Pearl P620 April/May 2016 Ports: Noumea, Mare, Lifou, Port Vila, Mystery Island We have cruised before, and on the Pacific Pearl before, very similar itinerary, except previously Isle of Pines (my favourite port), not LIfou. However, husband and I are working, and restricted when holidays can be taken. So, we thought we knew what to expect on Pacific Pearl. We already knew the ...

This is the 4th P&O cruise husband and I have been on, and each time the standards have slipped. The first cruise was the final cruise for Pacific Sky, a far superior passenger experience – then the last 3 cruises over almost 3 years. In fact, on this cruise we were recognised by a few fellow passengers ! Anyway, a standard outside cabin. Orange/brown dated and looking a bit sad, but the cabin is ...

Superliner?

This review is based on a cruise out of Auckland, where the ship is marketed as P&O's newest addition and a NZ based ship, New Zealand's first Super-liner no less! However the ship is Australian ( bar the London registration), from currency to pub quiz questions. The refurbishment can only be described as cheap and superficial. It looks like the budget was blown entirely on the big screen, ...
