Neither my husband or I had ever been to Athens, or to Venice. We have enjoyed past Viking river cruises, and this itinerary had no sea days, which he dislikes. It's a small ship so for the size the entertainment was good, food and service was good.The shore excursions were poor at best except for Olympia and Venice ( we arrived in Venice 12:30 in the afternoon by the time we went to Murano and Burano it was 2:00.
