Main pool -- nice and warm. Kept it open in medium high seas, too.

This was our third Viking cruise. We have always been pleased with all aspects of the cruise. The size of the cruise ships and the limited amount of passengers have been attractive to us. The cabins are spacious and have enough closet / storage space. The dining choices we very nice. The buffet was always well stocked . The restaurant had an elegant feel yet was very comfortable. Our group ...

This was our fist Viking Ocean cruise and we have decided we will never sail anything else. Having cruised with other lines, there is usually something I can complain about. However, we were so pleasantly surprised to find that there was nothing we could find fault with and everything exceeded our expectations and hopes. From the moment we stepped onboard, the attention to service, ...

Selected this cruise because of the amazing places it went that I never thought I would see—Athens, Croatia, Montenegro, and ending up in Venice. The Acropolis in Athens was a hard climb but so worth it in the end. The views from the top are wonderful. Visit to Olympia to see original site of first Olympic Games was interesting to see. Corfu was a very pretty coastal town. Dubrovnik and Split ...

I’m used to Viking River Boat cruising but thought I would try the ocean cruise. The boat is modern and sleek, beautiful inside. Our Jr penthouse suite was spacious and comfortable. Food was delicious and service outstanding. The servers I regularly used remembered me and made me feel special. The spa was great and the services I received were very professional. The daily ...

I have taken other cruise lines so my experience on the Viking is in comparison to the previous cruises. I went with my adult daughter. (And we loved the no kids policy!) Cabin (jr. Suite) was large and immaculately clean. Very large bathroom with double sinks and spacious shower. Cabin stewards were very helpful without being intrusive. Food was excellent and beautifully presented in every ...

Maiden Voyage of Viking Jupiter Athens to Barcelona February 16 to March 2, 2019

We sailed on Viking Star last March and were hooked. This year we again wanted a port intensive, educational, small ship experience without the pushy, glitzy, and somewhat pedestrian atmosphere that many other cruise lines offer. We also wanted to be a part of a more mature clientele with no children or casino. We booked back-to-back Journey To Antiquities and Iconic Western Mediterranean. The ...

It was sold to me as a 14 Day Mediterranean Antiquities Cruise.

I just noticed that the top of this review it says 7 Night Journey to Antiquities. That is not what was sold to us by Viking. We bought a 14 day cruise called Mediterranean Antiquities Cruise. More about that later in my review. We chose this cruise because we had been looking for a cruise that stayed overnight in Rome and Viking sent us an email about this cruise and it was exactly what we ...
