We enjoyed the new beds/bedding added to the Crown Princess recently and benefitted from a spring refurbishment to the ship. The two week cruise commencing from Athens and terminating in Rome was a wonderful experience. The service, entertainment and food was excellent. The Princess excursions were well conducted for the most part except for Genoa which was rushed and the guide was not well versed with the history and had to read from her notes. Was a nice cruise. Not spectacular.. but it was fine. Embarkation and disenbarkation were fine. Food was generally good. It probably ranged from ok to very good depending on what you had, with most of it being very good in the MDR. Tried the Pizza, Burgers and Fries twice - they were not so good. This was our 10th cruise with Princess and our third trip on the Crown.
